White Rock Lake Park

Baiyan Lake was built in 1911 and is the water source of Dallas. After 1927, the city government built a park around the lake, which is also a hundred years old. There are green roads around the lake, which can be used for hiking and cycling. The inner circle close to the lake is 14 kilometers (9 miles) and the outer circle is 18 kilometers (11 miles). The visual circumference is larger than Hangzhou West Lake, and the West Lake is about 10 kilometers around. There are many parking spaces around the lake, as well as public toilets and drinking water outlets. There is a dam in the southeast corner of the lake, and there are many egrets living here. Usually most of the residents living around are running or cycling for morning exercises, and some people sit by the lake and watch the water in a daze without doing anything.
