You must visit the 130 million year old Daintree Rainforest if you’re in tropical North Queensland! We went on a day trip from Port Douglas in a hire car. You can spend a whole day there if you plan properly or if you want longer there are multiple camp spots or eco lodges but one day could be enough. Book a croc river tour in the morning with Crocodile Express or Bruce Belcher’s tours which we did. Then drive towards Cape Tribulation by going across the river by ferry and stopping at the Daintree Discovery Centre, you’ll need an hour or so there to make the entry fee of about $30AUD worth it. Continue towards Cape Tribulation stopping at the boardwalk walks that take about 20mins each (there’s about 3 along the way). Grab some organic ice cream while you take in the sounds and smells of the one of the world’s oldest rainforests!

Dane Tree Rain is a very special place. This rainforest environment is very special. It is a typical wild reserve of tropical climate. Many insects and animals, and plants are also colorful. [View] A very fun place [Fun] Very interesting
The Dancui rainforest is very large, the time to play is a bit short, and the time in the car is relatively long. It is more interesting to find alligators in the Dancui River by boat. I feel that the link to the Douglas Zoo can be saved. The zoo is very small and can be seen in 20 minutes.
It is very interesting and cost-effective. It is highly recommended 👍👍
We rented a car to start the trip and the map provided by the Cairns Visitor Center helped us a lot. It was not difficult to drive a beautiful car through the Dancui rainforest. The rainforest was spectacular, without artificial carving, and it was a miracle of nature. There are many nice small cafes along the way. To try Masons, we all loved it.
The Dancui Rainforest is a large primitive rainforest in the western suburbs of Cairns. There are tall trees and hot climates. There are viewing trails in the rainforest. Sometimes there are small rainforest animals shuttle back and forth. Walking on the sightseeing trail, it feels very comfortable. The spirit of birds and flowers feels particularly good.
The Dancui Rainforest in Cairns is a beautiful country park because Cairns is very warm all year round, and it is a typical tropical rainforest climate. It is not only dense rainforest, but also rich in flora and fauna. You can see many rare wildlife during the hike, which is really interesting and worth a good visit.
