Edinburgh Printmakers

Edinburgh Printmakers Workshop & Gallery located in the city center has three floors to visit. In addition to a workshop, the floor is like a small gallery. The third floor is the Coffe Shop, which is stylish and elegant in decoration. It is also very good to sigh a cup of coffee.

The small gallery of the printer workshop is an old building where local artists work in this historic old laundry room. From the gallery between the ground floor and the first floor, you can see a panoramic view of a spacious room, and there are several rooms on the first floor for exhibition space.

Edinburgh printing workshop and gallery are remodeled using an old public washroom, nice little shops in the reception area and of course many works by outstanding artists and printmakers. Changes in exhibition. In a year or two this group will move to a new house and it will close

As someone who has lived in both Glasgow and Edinburgh, I think Edinburgh is more artistic and cultural. Castle, Carlton Hill, the north sea, trams are the perfect tourist resource for the city.

I got to go to a special open day where they had small workshops trying out various printmaking techniques. It was a really cool experience and it made me realise how technical and precise printmaking is. They also have a gallery, often showing off artists from the workshop. If you can get yourself to a short course or workshop, do! It was a really cool experience and you leave with your own art piece.
