David of Michelangelo

David is a masterpiece of Renaissance sculptures, made in marble by Italian artist Michelangelo between 1501 and 1504. The statue of David, a meter tall marble, was placed in a public square outside the Old Palace, the seat of Florence City, and was unveiled on September 8, 1504.
