Mount Fuji

Rented a car from Tokyo for a Mt Fuji day trip.So we can covered alot of places in a day. We visited the Fuji Safari Park before we drove to lake kawaguchi area. Along the way, we spotted the Mt Fuji, which was covered by thick cloud. Then before sunset, we made it to Kawaguchi Lawson to have a better view of Mt Fuji.

The Fuji Five-Eye is a bit similar to Everest Base Camp (which is much lower, of course), at the junction of the snow line, and the car is here, and it is about to hike. It is also the last service area before climbing, where energy and supplementary resources can be accumulated, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, post offices, souvenir shops, horse riding, parking lot, bathrooms, etc. are all available.
