A breath of fresh air from the concrete jungle of Georgetown. The Chew, Lim and Lee jetties were all worth a visit.
Pengkalan Weld is where Pengkalan Raja Tun Uda held to connect between Georgetown (Penang Island) and Butterworth (Mainland). Ferry service provided is technically nice and comfortable.
2020 New Year's Travel First bullet ~ Penang, Malaysia. This trip has a total of 15 days. Because of the car rental, the itinerary is very casual. I originally planned to stay in Penang for 3 days. As a result, the locals told us that there is a New Year's Eve event. I deliberately stayed here for two more days. It is not too lively at night. New Year's Eve party, lion dance, lamp puzzle, Wish the Tiangong... I felt a strong Chinese year that I couldn't feel in my country in a foreign country.
this is the place where the immigrants from China set their roots in Penang last time so there is a strong historical connection
The wind is beautiful, a little sun, remember to bring a hat or an umbrella, there are many snacks and handwriting in the alley
Early immigrants from different surnames in China built their houses by the sea.
