Cavanas was originally built to care for and shelter those in difficulty. Some elderly or disabled people, for example, were left alone and disabled. Later, the scale was growing as more people were receiving help. Because the design of the whole poorhouse is very distinctive, not only with exquisite sculptures, but also with gorgeous murals, which is an architectural artwork in itself, so it is worth visiting.

The Cavanas Poorhouse is Guadalajara's most famous building, which has been around for more than 100 years and is used to care for and shelter people living in difficulties, such as orphans, the elderly, the disabled and the chronically ill. The biggest attraction here is the murals in the workhouse, many now considered masterpieces of the Mexican Art Center, which were made by the most famous Mexican mural painter of the time, Orrosko, and were definitely art treasures.

The Cavania Relief House was a relief site built by the Spanish colonial government to help people in difficulty. It was used to care for and shelter people in difficulties, such as orphans, the elderly, the disabled, and chronically ill people. The relief house is also world famous for its harmony of indoor and outdoor spaces, minimalist design and its scale, and is now a very large museum, well worth a visit.

Now it is an exhibition hall, although you have to buy tickets, it is still worth going in and taking a look. It is very comfortable inside, whether it is in the hall or the corridor or in the yard.
