In Ho Chi Minh for a few days it was: 💒 Checking out attractions 🍜 Eating Vietnamese noodles ☕️ Drinking coffee 🛍️ Shopping for clothes 💆‍♀️ Getting a massage 1️⃣ About attractions - If you have time, the Central Post Office/Pink Church/Art Gallery/War Remnants Museum are all worth a visit - The Central Post Office is quite small, and there are some souvenir shops inside - We went to the Pink Church on the weekend when it was closed, so we just took photos at the coffee shop opposite - The Art Gallery is relatively large and worth visiting, also very photogenic - The War Remnants Museum is the most popular, mainly about the history of the Vietnam War, and there are a lot of Western visitors 2️⃣ About Vietnamese noodles - Didn't specifically plan to eat at any particular place, just randomly went to a Vietnamese noodle shop near the Central Post Office, turned out to be a hidden gem - Picture 10, the shop name is pho cao van - Ordered two bowls of beef noodles with a whole 🥥 for only 45 RMB - There was also a compatriot eating there who didn't have cash, so he exchanged with us on WeChat. When paying, we told the owner we would pay together, and when she saw we were not at the same table, she told the compatriot not to worry about it and to come back after exchanging money. 3️⃣ About coffee - Visited the popular ones like the workshop coffee / dabao / Linh, etc. - Vietnamese coffee is really good! Especially the salted coffee, which is salty and sweet! - Coconut coffee is too sweet for me, but those who like sweet drinks can try it 4️⃣ About shopping - If you want to keep it simple, just go to D Nguyen Trai street - I don't think you need to specifically look for a certain store, many of the stores recommended online didn't have anything great, and some of the more popular ones were of average quality - Anyway, there are super many clothing stores on this street, if you have time you can visit each one - The green short-sleeved shirt in pictures 5/8/11 was just from a random store, only 55 yuan!! And the quality is pretty good 5️⃣ About massage - Massage shops are everywhere, but still check Google Maps for reviews according to your needs - I had a body massage at Norah spa, the environment is relatively better, comfort level is average, similar to domestic ones, but definitely cheaper - Had a hair wash at Xuan Lan Spa&Hair, also not expensive, quite formal, worth experiencing - Both of these shops are on the same street, very close to each other, and there are also some clothing stores nearby like Datt/ S.C Studio etc. - Finally, make sure to wear sunscreen, Ho Chi Minh is really super hot and the sun is extremely strong! It feels like melting on the streets during the day!

However, be cautious: 1. Watch out for pickpockets on Pho Duc Chinh Street. 2. Be mindful of parking fines around the museum. The Saigon Fine Arts Museum, also known as the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum, spans three floors and was constructed in the early 20th century through collaboration between French and Vietnamese designers. The architectural style reflects a charming French influence. Despite some aging facilities inside, the exterior walls maintain their pristine appearance. The museum is a fascinating journey through Vietnam's artistic history! 🇻🇳✨

It is one of the local popular check-in points, and the Southern French architectural style is very photogenic. You can visit the exterior of the building for free, but you need a ticket to enter the interior. The adult ticket is 30,000 VND (about 10 yuan), and the child ticket is half price, which is very affordable. Various windows, stairs, and inner courtyards are all good photo spots.

Day 2: Breakfast - Tan Dinh Church - Book Street - Lunch - Museum of Fine Arts - Café Apartment - Dinner 1️⃣ For breakfast, I had pho at a restaurant near the hotel. It seems that you can't go wrong with pho at any random restaurant in Vietnam. 2️⃣ Then, I visited Tan Dinh Church, which is known for its pink color and is perfect for taking photos. 3️⃣ Then, I strolled through Book Street, where there are many books, and if you're willing to explore, you can discover some interesting reads. 4️⃣ Lunch was at Quan94. Address: Quán 94 - Đặc Sản Cua Biển Hochiminh, VN. 5️⃣ After lunch, I visited the Museum of Fine Arts. The museum's interior and exterior are characterized by soft yellow and light green hues, which look exceptionally gentle in the sunlight. The museum features numerous sculptures and paintings, but I found the colonial-era architecture of the building itself to be the most impressive exhibit. From the design of the long corridors to the extension of the stairs, every aspect of the building is a work of art. 6️⃣ After exploring the museum, I went to Café Apartment. This building was originally constructed in the mid-20th century and used to be housing and office space for the American military. The building has ten floors, with the bottom two occupied by various shops, and the upper eight floors house a diverse range of coffee shops, numbering over 50 in total. I chose an interesting little café to sit in, and when night fell, the Café Apartment's illuminated interiors added to the atmosphere. Each balcony emitted warm-colored light. 7️⃣ For dinner, I went to ANAN for French cuisine. I ordered Foie Gras Imperial Roll, Banh Xeo Tacos, Chicken Banana Blossom, Saigon Shaking Beef, Crab Fried Rice, Banana Spring Roll, and Broken Lime.
