Eyüp Sultan Mosque

The mosque is located in Eyup, in the northwest corner of Istanbul. It was built during the Ottoman period. It was named after Eyup Sultan because its mausoleum was laid here and later changed to a mosque. It attracted many pilgrims and became the fourth largest pilgrimage site.
