We went to the Galata, built in 1348, and after queuing in, the elevator went directly to the 6th floor, and then walked 2 floors to the top floor. Overlooking Istabul, the blue sky and blue sea green trees and red roof are very beautiful. After watching, you can only walk down. Every floor has some to visit, although the visibility is not strong.

A must see while in Istanbul. Went there during NYE and they had a beautiful night light show lighting up the facade!
The Galatia Tower is a watchtower in the Beyuru district of Istanbul, Turkey, named after its area. Founded in 1348, the 67-meter-high watchtower was built at the highest point of the Galatian wall and was the tallest building in Constantinople at that time.

The Galatian tower is one of Istanbul's landmarks, a lighthouse built in 507 by Byzantine Emperor Anastasius. The Galatian tower was originally built of wood, burned during the Crusades, and was rebuilt by the Heatman, and the material was changed to stone. The vicissitudes of the ancient tower have served several roles: guard tower, prison, observatory. The Galatian tower overlooks parts of Istanbul.
