Suleymaniye Mosque

The Suleimannier Mosque is the Royal Mosque of the Ottoman Empire, commissioned by Suleiman the Great more than 400 years ago. Behind the mosque's worship wall is the tomb of Suleiman the Great and his wife. The Suleimaniyah Mosque is one of the most famous attractions in Istanbul, Turkey, from its third mountain location overlooking the city around the Golden Horn Bay.
