This is one of our family's favorite places to go during holidays. It is a few hours away from Tokyo by car or train yet the ocean is so clean and the air is fresh.

An area centered around Izu-Kyu's Izu Kogen Station. It is convenient as a starting point for sightseeing as it is the end of several bus routes. A few minutes walk from the station is also a bathing facility called Izu Kogen Onsen.

The center of Izu Kogen is Izukyu Izu Kogen Station. ２ I went to Izu Kogen at the end of the month. The cherry blossoms in the garden beside the station platform were in bloom.
