The paintings on the walls at both ends of the Mingtang have a century-old history, and there are exquisite wood carvings on the doors and windows and under the armpits. The second floor of Mingtang is the essence of Ouyang's house. The Buddha in the late Qing Dynasty is now dedicated to the ancestors of the family. The glass is an imported British goods at that time. The sculpture of the phoenix is on the top and the dragon is under. It is a metaphor for the feminism in the family. The sculpture must be exquisite. It is said to be the highest Buddha in Yunnan.
