Hegang Yasaka Palace, very close to Otaru Tong, is the temple of the Yuanshi Mufu family that founded the ancient capital of Kamakura. It is also the center of the entire city. Just like a big park, there are mountains and waters, ponds and lotus flowers, very beautiful. There is also a small shrine on the right side with a lot of pigeons. When school is finished at noon, the surrounding primary and secondary school students will bring their own lunch boxes to feed the pigeons. On the steps, it is the main hall. There are many young people. Some white-collar workers will also come to worship after work. On the right side of the steps there is a large lounge with food, drink and bathroom, and besides that there is almost no place to sit.

Facing the red bird house of "Hegang Yasaka Palace", there is a walkway more than one meter above the ground, the base sides are built with black stones, the middle is filled with fine knots of loess, has been walked for thousands of years, pressure than the cement floor is flat and hard. The sidewalk trees on both sides are the national tree cherry blossom trees in Japan, and even if they are not in the cherry blossom season, the branches are set up as a large green tent, which is very simple and fresh. On the other side, there is also a large red bird house, and there is a big stone lion on the left and right. This is the starting point of this ancient road, and it is also the place where people from the ancient capital of the previous millennium started to worship Hegang Yasaka Palace. The roads and sidewalks on both sides are as crowded as weaving, but it is very quiet.
Walking day trip at Kamakura , a very popular temple for a reason. There is a beautiful promenade between the station and shrine. It is easy to access and has good signs. There are nice toilets and a museum. The shrine itself can be busy, so if you want to go inside and do blessings, be prepared to wait a little. Overall very beautiful and worth seeing. It is a Shinto shrine established in 11th century, built in 1828 in the traditional Edo architectural style. Will visit again because here have a lot nearby temple we haven't finish for 1 days trip.
