see a slice of the devastation from WWII when you walk through the old surrounding cemetary that has seen better days. But reading the headstones and seeing those that had been broken was special

The interior of this church is beautiful. It is warm and welcoming, you feel at ease inside this building.

Beautiful in snow
We took photos here as our hotel was very near to the church. Very beautiful when covered in snow. We met locals who then explained about this church.

This appears to be the only church in Kirkenes and yet it’s a block away from Church Street. It’s also fairly new and has no sign outside so I don’t know if it’s Catholic, Lutheran or Russian orthodox...
