Its the old theatre building where Vagner performed and Hitler gave a speech from the balcony when the Germans took over. Not much else in the square.

Prominent old square with interesting history and architecture. Stroll around it for a few minutes and soak in the vibe.

I wouldn't say it is anything special. We walked by it, didn't feel like giving it much attention. If you like sculpture hunting, there is plenty to do in the town.

It is a very small statue. We presumed it's bigger. But the place is nice in front of the opera. Lot's of stall's around the Opera Place
