Aquarium and Marine Museum

The museum is located within the Borneo Marine Research Institute Complex, just beside the Sepanggar Bay are. The Aquarium and Marine Museum has the best aquarium facilities in the whole of Borneo Island. Among the facilities available at the museum are the live open water reef exhibition centre, free standing exhibition tanks, live shallow reef exhibition, mangrove walk, contemporary Marine and Maritime Museum, Multimedia Interactive Information Kiosk as well as a Sipadan deep dive diorama.

In an aquarium inside Sabah University, the distance from the school library is not a little far. You need to take a bus from the campus for 50 minutes, and there is a 1.2 kilometers and about 20-25 minutes. Adult tickets are 20 ringgit, but there is no ticket check at all. There are small fishes inside. Basically, local students come to visit. The boat at the door is quite distinctive.
