Shokoku-ji

The temple is one of the five mountains of Kyoto and ranks second. (The Wushan Temple in Kyoto is: Tianzhu Temple, Xiangguo Temple, Jianren Temple, Tofu Temple, Wanshou Temple) and Jinge Temple Yinge Temple belong to the Linji Zongxiangguo Temple, but Xiangguo Temple is a national temple, unlike Jinge Temple Yinge Temple, which is open all year round as a tourist attraction. Only the two time periods of spring and autumn will be particularly public, and don't think that Xiangguo Temple has nothing. The dry landscape in Xiangguo Temple is really not worse than any temple in Kyoto, and the dragon map in Xiangguo Temple is really a treasure to appreciate once in a lifetime. In addition, in order to get the handwritten Zhu Yin of the abbot of Xiangguo Temple, I went to Xiangguo Temple countless times, and finally asked, really thank you.

When we were in the north of Kyoto, we stopped to see the great temple. We found it built more than 630 years ago in 1382. The founder is the third member of the Ashkaga Shogunate who lived in AD1358-1408, and it is a long time ago now! In the temple complex there is an art gallery with many beautiful paintings. Our friend guide told us that there used to be a seven-storey pagoda in the complex, which was more than 100 meters tall. Unfortunately it was destroyed by fire or lightning. There are many peaceful and beautiful buildings and Japanese gardens throughout the temple area, some of which we spend time sitting down, relaxing and meditating in this “holy” place. Our favorite place is Harto Hall, a domed building built around 1600 AD and said to be the oldest original building in existence. There is a huge dragon painting on the ceiling, and we think it seems to keep staring at you wherever you stand under the dome painting, which is very "strange"!! This is a really special temple, recommended to everyone.

[Kyoto Sangguo Temple] Sangguo Temple is now on display in the autumn, and the paintings collected inside are on public display. Interested friends should not miss this opportunity.

A very historic temple, but its gate is very small, it is better to find it, and then there will be another world when you go in, the area inside is quite large, and the building is still very beautiful.

Luyuan Temple is a temple of Jizong Xiangguo Temple. It was built in 1397 as a villa of Fuli Yiman. General Fuli Yiman is the prototype of General Yixiu. The gate to Jinge Temple is two rows of tall trees, which shows the history of the temple. Jinge Temple, officially named Luyuan Temple, is also known as Jinge Temple because of the gold foil wrapped outside the building. It is said that the garden centered on Jinge represents the Pure Land of Paradise. The pond called Jinghu Pool and Jinge reflect each other and are the representative scenery of Kyoto.
