A collection of Dutch colonial buildings built 250 years ago at the central of Malacca.
I went to Melaka with my friend during our holiday. It was such a nice place. We have so much fun together.
The Dutch Red House, located on the banks of the Malacca River, was built between 1641 and 1660 and is the oldest Dutch building in Southeast Asia, built by the Dutch colonial government at the time, using red bricks specially shipped from the Netherlands, so commonly known as the "Red House". Originally built, the church was the seat of government for more than 300 years, until 1980 it was converted to a museum in Malacca, containing historical artifacts from Malay, Portugal, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. However, it is also said that the exterior walls of the building are red, including the ancient Christian church built in 1753, and the red bell tower built in 1886, are part of the red house.
Good environment, good humanistic atmosphere, people of all colors on the road
The Dutch Red House 6 in Malacca Although the British government has carried out many renovations during the British colonial period, Dutch architectural art and designs such as Dutch-style thick brick walls, large windows and doors have been preserved. The only one that has been rebuilt is its underground drainage system. The top floor of the Red House is the former Governor's bedroom, a vast bedroom filled with Chinese mythology and art.
New Horse Tour - Malacca Dutch Red House 13 has a Chinese tour group place, it must be Chinese style. The closer you get to the Dutch Red House, the stronger the familiar Chinese flavor. The tour guide waved the small red flag in his hand and told the group members when and where to gather. A free movement was like a password, and a group of people swarmed and dispersed.
