Interesting to visit and see the old, historical graves.
A place of memory and the excellent work of the Leolam Foundation in preserving the cemetery. It would require significant funding for the repair of the monuments, but families either no longer exist...

One of the biggest Jewish Cemeteries
Jewish Cemetery is located near Pădurea cu Pini protected area (the only black pine forest in Romania and Europe). It has a surface of footbal stadium. The oldest grave is from 1600.

They're restoring it by the looks which is good. We had trouble finding it. Yet, compared to the stacked and learning tombstones of Prague's Josefov Cemetery, this was in great shape. Looking ol...

Starting to look better
It is a piece of Jewish history in Romania, and it was in a need of some restoration after long time of neglect. now after some foundation is taking care of it is starting to look better.

Unfortunately, Jewish cemetery was in a bad condition when I have been there; but this year one foundation started to be involved so many monuments have been restored .
Interesting to visit and see the old, historical graves.
