Most of the sites are off limits due to excavation and maintenance work, and can only enter the west side of Ninomaru. Since Ninomaru / Te cannot pass, you need to go out the roadway once to get to the west side of Ninomaru from the guide house and enter from the major. Excavation investigation and maintenance work are scheduled to end in November 2023, so if you want to fully enjoy the ruins of Kunohe Castle, you should visit after the excavation investigation is completed.

I stopped by when I traveled on the old Oshu Kaido by running. There are no buildings left, but the foundation is well maintained so you can capture the atmosphere of the castle.
