It is a shrine on a hill on a peninsula that protrudes into Lake Okutama, a dam lake. It is said that nine shrines in the village that sank to the bottom of the dam are solicited. The blueness of Lake Okutama seen between the autumn leaves 々 was beautiful.

Solemn atmosphere

It was a little far from the main road, but I went because I was interested in these shrines. When I went there, it was deserted, but I felt a majestic atmosphere.

About 10 minutes walk from the Ogawachi Shrine bus stop. It is located on a small cape protruding into Lake Okutama, and the shrine has slopes and stone steps. It is a shrine built to enshrin the shrine that sank at the bottom of the Ogawachi Dam, and the main deity is Amaterasu Kodaijin and others. The shrine is made of reinforced concrete. The hall of worship is blown away. Since the eleven pillars of gods are enshrined, it may be of benefit to worship 々.
