It's fun to cross!

Park your car in a long, narrow free parking lot along the road and go down the stairs next to the wooden toilet and you will find a floating bridge. It's about 30 seconds from the parking lot, so if you go by car, it's more convenient and recommended than Mugiyama Ukibashi. It was past noon on the weekend in mid-July, but few people visited, and there were only a few people fishing on the shore of the lake near the Ukihashi. I walked back and forth to the opposite bank, but the wind was cool and comfortable. It's a little shorter than the Mugiyama Ukibashi, and it's a little shaking and it's not scary at all.

Ruura is read as "Tozura". It is said that it is a walking passage connecting the Ruura village and the opposite bank. It is built with resin floats (orange) and metal materials, and it sways while making a creaking and rattling noise when crossing. It is near the Ruura bus stop and Japanese food Shimakatsu. Free parking and toilets available.

It was "Tourura Ukibashi" with excellent access from the parking lot. It is recommended. There are two floating bridges on Lake Okutama, but this "Tourura Ukibashi" is quiet with few tourists. Also, the parking lot is nearby, which is convenient. Personally, "Ruura Ukihashi" may be recommended.

It is located along the Ome Kaido Road from Mugiyama Ukibashi to 3.2㎞ and Tanbayama Village "Kamozawa Public Hall". About 5 minutes by car. There is a Ruura parking lot (free) near Ukibashi, so it is better to access from the parking lot. The mechanism is the same as that of Mugiyama Ukibashi, but it seems that there are fewer customers here. It may be closed depending on the water level and weather.

A floating bridge over Lake Okutama. Even though it is a bridge, it is not made of fixed wood or stone, but a bridge that connects polyethylene and styrofoam floats, and is completely floating on the lake. It was a bridge that was free to cross, and although it was not as exciting as a suspension bridge, it was a unique thrill. There seem to be two floating bridges in Lake Okutama, but I couldn't stop by because there was no parking lot near the other Mugiyama floating bridge. Passing through a place like the middle of Lake Okutama, which is rich in nature ...
