Along the Dojima gawa River near Asahi broadcasting, there is a stone monument of 'Yukichi Fukuzawa's birthplace. It was surprising that Yukichi was from Nakatsu, but this place was the site of the former Nakatsu domain, and it seems that he was born in this residence. Nakanoshima station in Keihan is located south of tamae Bashi bridge.

It is very fulfilling. The place is on the south side of the Asahi Broadcasting Corporation. There is also a promenade along the Dojima River, so it may be a good idea to take a walk and see it.

Yukichi Fukuzawa, who later founded Keio University, was born as a child of a lower feudal retainer of this warehouse. A monument to the birthplace of Yukichi Fukuzawa stands on the north end of the Dojima River and Tamae Bridge. In the Edo period, this place was where the Nakatsu clan's warehouse was located. Yukichi Fukuzawa was born in Osaka today as a son of a feudal retainer of the Nakatsu clan. There are several places related to Yukichi Fukuzawa in Osaka, such as the suitable juku school in Nakanoshima.
