The red brick warehouses on both sides of the Otaru Canal have been converted into glass craft shops, restaurants, cultural and creative shops and fine cake shops. It takes about 50 minutes (680 yen) to get by tram from JR Otaru Station, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the canal. Before going to the Internet to pay attention to whether the Otaru Canal has a holiday light, take pictures of the beautiful!

The Otaru Snow Light Path Festival is a winter festival that held every February in Otaru , we came here by taxi from Nesiko, it cost us around USD 150-200 round trip. Luckily, during this time the city decorated in lights and small snow statues for only ten days. Although we did not see The Sapporo Snow Festival this time we as other did. But we enjoyed the romantic night very much.
i immediately fell in love with this city. i really love the vibes here. i will visiting again on another season.
There were so many places to explore in Otaru. We took the Rickshaw upon reaching the canal. Our guide was Kota San, he shared with us many interesting facts and insights if Otaru. The most amazing part of this rickshaw ride was the amazing photos he took for us during the ride. And if course, there were also much said of the Otaru canal which it always picturesque and beautiful.
