Bo'ao Buddhist Temple

Boao Temple is located in Boao Water City, Qionghai, Hainan, the site of the Boao Forum for Asia, which is world-famous. Boao Temple has a total construction area of 60,000 square meters and a total investment of 1.3 million yuan. In October 2000, Mr. Jiang Xiaosong, Vice Chairman of Boao Forum for Asia, President of Xiaoao Group and Founder of Boao Water City, personally funded a statue of Guanshiyin Bodhisattva with a height of 9.9 meters on the Lotus Dun in Wanquan River. At the end of 2002, Mr. Jiang donated another 5 million yuan to officially build the Boao Oriental Culture Garden, which is mainly based on Boao Temple. The first phase of the master plan in March 2005 was completed and opened to the public.

博鳌禅寺，位于举世瞩目的“博鳌亚洲论坛”所在地——海南琼海博鳌水城，与博鳌亚洲论坛永久会址隔水相望。博鳌禅寺，总建筑面积6万平方米，总投资1.3亿人民币。2000年10月由博鳌亚洲论坛副理事长、晓奥集团总裁、博鳌水城创始人蒋晓松先生个人施资，在万泉河中的莲花墩上竖起一座高9.9米的观世音菩萨塑像。2002年岁末，蒋先生又捐资500万元，正式筹建以博鳌禅寺为主体的“博鳌东方文化苑”。2005年3月总规划的第一期工程博鳌禅寺和东方文化主题公园、莲花馆完成并对外开放。
