We got family surf lessons with our kids (13 and 11 years old), and it was the highlight of our trip. We actually planned to splurge and go AGAIN, and that is not like us! We weren’t able to go again, due to bad weather on the remaining days of our trip— still a real disappointment to our 11 year old! A note about the cold: we went in March, and I was very concerned about the cold. Though my hands and feet got cold by the end of the lesson, the wet suits really do work! If you are one of those people who is always cold and this is a big worry, don’t let it stop you. Truly!
