Have you seen more Buddhist temples on the top of the mountain? Have you seen a lot of beautiful seas? However, it is not too much to combine these two elements into one landscape, right? There are many Chinese Buddhist temples in Sabah, Malaysia, and Shandagen Puji Temple is one of them. Built in 1987 at the top of Shizui, at the southern end of Shandagen City, Puji Temple cost MYR 7 million, equivalent to RMB 16 million, is the largest and tallest temple in Shandagen. Puji Temple is outstanding not only because it is huge and magnificent, not only because it is built on the top of the mountain, but also because here, you can chanting prayers while you can have a panoramic view of the mountain root bay. The combination of the mountain Buddha Temple and the sea view, the mountain Dagen Puji Temple can be described as a must!

Puu Jih Sih temple was built in 1987 and officiated by Joseph Pairin Kitingan, the Chief Minister of Sabah at the time.It is the largest Chinese temple for the town and situated around 4 kilometres west of the town centre. They got plenty of statue tho.

This is a very colourful temple with spectacular views down to the port, the ocean and back towards the centre of KK.
