Shaxian City God Temple

Shaxian Chenghuang Temple, facing the Shaxi River, is located in the east of Shaxian County. It is a provincial cultural relics protection unit in Fujian Province. It is relatively intact. The Chenghuang Temple that I have seen was built in Qianlong and has been repaired many times. It is currently the seat of Shaxian Taoism Association. When I went there, I didn't meet many people, and there was no guard or ticket. Enter the mountain gate, pass through the middle hall and come to the main hall. In the middle of the main hall, there are judges, bull heads, horse noodles, black and white impermanence, Ten Temple King, etc. The stone zodiacs in front of the Chenghuang Temple are simple and generous, and they are still flexible after the storm.

Shaxian Town God Temple is on Ligang Road. It seems that the building scale is not small, with a heavy sense of history and local Chinese religious culture. Go in and see a lot of understanding, no tickets are required. The park at the door is also very good, you can see.

The Chenghuang Temple is very simple, basically maintaining the ancient taste of the original building, and the two pagodas in the town at the door look very majestic. Stepping into it feels like returning to the old time through time and space. There are two columns of animal stone carvings on both sides of the patio, as well as two weapons racks. ​ The corridor has also become the activity center of the grandparents in the area. Grandma is watching Wang Baodi and Yuan Dingshan, and the grandparents gather here to play mahjong. We also integrate into local life. O (∩_∩) O sits in a bamboo chair and watches TV dramas. A small partner also rescues the grandfathers who are missing three, and fights the mahjong table. Of course, Jiang is still old and spicy. The classmate is purely going to be a money-scavenger, haha. The enthusiastic old people also entertained us to drink their own herbal tea. It was really pleasant.

The building scale is magnificent, and there are stone people and beasts in the courtyard. The existing wooden structure and some high walls are all things of the Qing Dynasty, and it is the most complete and largest ancient architectural group in Shaxian County. When you step into the Chenghuang Temple, you have a simple charm. The moss on the ground in the temple can be seen in its history. There are elderly people playing cards leisurely in the temple, or not! The Dao family's law field, the introduction can see a "Dao" word. But when you go in, you can see the "avoidance" flag and drums and bells of the ancient times. It seems that this is not only a city temple. Of course, I have no research on this, and I dare not make a conclusion.
