If this your first time to Korea, this is a must place to go. You are able to see various Korea culture, and the palace is very very big! Unfortunately the weather is too hot when we went there, it will be perfect if it's winter. Outside the palace there's a lot of shops to rent the hanbok. No need to make any reservation. The price for hanbok rental mostly around 15,000won-30,000won, depends on it's design. I rent this hanbok at 15,000 won for 4 hours which I think is super worthy!
Reasons to Recommend: main tourist spotthey do have some dates in a month when u can get in for free.perfomance usually at noon
One of the finest (must visit) places in Seoul to witness ancient/historical times of Korean history and culture! Very well maintained. Easily accessible from metro station. Loved walking around the palace premises and witness the historical vibes. It feels so good to be here if you’re a history loving person! Also, the admission is discounted for those with physical disabilities and free to those wearing Hanboks (the traditional Korean attire than can be rented just outside of the palace at various shops).

A beautiful historical place, located in the middle of Seoul City. Near to any other attraction place. highly recommended!
Visiting back in the peak of winter, the inside of the palace is simply marvelous. The scale and details of every corner is captivating
