Huatingdong Stone Pond

It was a seawall built in Yongzheng, more than 300 years ago. The seawall is still three kilometers away from the coast, apparently no longer functioning, so now it looks like a stone wall stretching nearly ten kilometers. What we see now is a picture of a memorial park at the Bay intersection of Zifengzhe Highway. The ruins are spread along a narrow strip between Fengzhe Highway and the wall of Shanghai University of Applied Technology, where the sea 300 years ago is now an institution of higher learning.
