我们来洞爷湖的那天正好下着雨，从洞爷JR站乘坐巴士上山，来到了洞爷湖温泉街，由于下雨，湖上水气很大，看上去雾气缭绕，不能一睹洞爷湖全貌。我们乘上游船去参观中岛，中岛一共有四个岛。湖水非常清澈，特别到了中岛岸边时更能清楚地看到鱼，有很多海鸥在湖面上飞翔，可见生态环境非常好。我们登上中岛欣赏美景，由于正在下雨，树木越发葱绿，岛上还有一个博物馆，里面介绍了洞爷湖上的动物植物情况，了解了不少知识。
