Saint George’s Church

St. George's is a famous Catholic martyr, saint, and guardian of England. It often appears in Western literature, sculpture, painting and other fields as the dragon-slaughter hero. This neo-Gothic church named after it was built in 1853 near Mechelen Square. Its predecessor is a Gothic church built in the 13th century, destroyed by the French in 1798. The two towers are 50 meters high. The paintings and sculptures in the church are worth seeing.

没来的时候说是这里一座世界级的文化遗产设施，但是走过很多国家里小镇后并没有觉得他有多么的特殊。作为一座最古老的教堂，整体还是得到了比较好的修缮工作，但是外墙面上很多的壁画随着风吹雨打已经基本上都褪色了，不得不说是一件很可惜的事情。里面的砖墙和壁画则保护的相对比较完好，但是冲击感却并不大
