Blue Moon Valley

The Blue Moon Valley is next to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and famous for its almost unreal turquoise blue water. The river is fed from the snow of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. In The Valley the river forms a series of lakes with stunning turquoise colour water. There is path going along the rivers and lakes, offering ample opportunity for great photos. Go prepared for crowds and people everywhere but enjoy the views. The Blue Moon Valley is accessible by shuttle bus only, departing from the same tourist center as Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Yun Shan Ping Meadow. I recommend walking along the lakes, and combining it with a visit to the meadow (using the ropeway).

It is worth going, although it rains ☔️ does not affect the view. It's so beautiful. . I went to play Blue Moon Valley. Tickets 100 yuan for the bus and 20 yuan for the round trip. . Parking is free.

In Lijiang, in the Blue Moon Valley, I met a dreamy blue lake. The moonlight spilled on the lake, as if it were pearls sprinkled by fairy, shining with charming light. I sat quietly by the lake, feeling the gentle breeze, listening to the lake gently lapping the shore, as if telling an ancient and beautiful legend. Everything here made me intoxicated, as if I was in a romantic fairy tale world.
