I visited as a guest at Amy's wedding taking place on Saturday and it was an absolutely brilliant day. Beautiful weather on the day and great memories made! The food was lovely and drinks great too. All staff were great and made the experience very special. Special mention to bar staff, Sam and Owen ,who provided brill service and were talkative all day (and into the night!!) thanks all for making it such a nice day

Smashing value interconnecting room for a small family or group. 1. Double bed, 2 singles with two bathrooms at a great price. The breakfast was a touch pricey with confusing breakfast arrangements that could be improved and my request for soya milk availability on the booking form was overlooked but there was a very good choice of food on the menu and the staff were all smiley and helpful throughout the hotel.

Stayed one night for work, hotel looks nice from outside although not in nice part of town, I walked from the station on a bright evening, didn’t feel particularly nice, would have got a cab had it been dark, arrived at hotel asked why is the restaurant closed to be told we don’t have an evening restaurant ask what food options McDonald’s and Nando’s apparently so has to walk back to the high street. Hotel had a nice appearance and was spotless clean, I had a ground floor room which was very noisy throttle night sounded like a washing machine was doing a cycle. Room was also cold

When we arrived the hotel and our room were freezing cold! Another quest complained so a young guy switched it on! We went to the bar to eat-the restaurant was closed-they served up my steak&ale pie black and it tasted awful I left it! My husbands burger was dry and overcooked! Our friends meals were ok! We arrived for breakfast at 8am-the first people there but had to wait 45 mins for our food! Other people were being fed first. Our sink had a massive crack in it and the toilet seat was loose! We were glad to leave after 2 nights-a very tired looking hotel but fabulous views! The staff seemed quite indifferent! Would not recommend.
