Ulasan Sonesta Maho Beach All Inclusive Resort Casino & Spa

This is my second time staying at Sonesta Maho. I stayed here right before the pandemic started and I had an enjoyable stay. This time however was not it. Housekeeping was very laxed in servicing the rooms. I encountered that other guests were experiencing the same. Housekeeping would either not service the rooms or take an extremely long time to tend to them. If they did manage to service the room, it was not full service: no fresh towels, no new toiletries like soap or tissue, etc. Then to add insult to injury, the pool towel desk has a supervisor who is very rude and caters to Caucasian guests. After this stay, I will not return to Sonesta Maho.

Nice hotel The buffet wasn’t what I expected it’s the name type of food . I find the hotel at least should have the rooms them ready a lil earlier. I did not see any snacks by the way like chips biscuits ect…

I only stay for one night . However I received Awesome customer service. I was allowed to get lunch before my official check in time that was 3pm. . The young lady at the baggage area was professional. After checking in and receiving my bottle water and champagne. I was told where to go but got a bit confused . Nonetheless i asked where the buffet was and was escorted to the buffet restaurant by a gentleman from the beach where you get your towels. When I got to the buffet a young man greeted me with a nice smile and offered me something to drink letting me know that the restaurant was closed and will be opening shortly. This to me was awesome customer service. I ask let him a few questions as it relates to Wi-Fi and he was able to tell me. My only issue was I checked you cannot gain access to Wi-Fi until you are assigned a room number. I checked in at 12 am and my room was going to be ready until 3pm I had no access to Wi-Fi and couldn’t call me family to let them know I was safe. There should be a way to gain Wi-Fi access before you are assigned a room. A one time access 30 minute access Other than that everything else was great . The workers at the Buffett was awesome especially a young man with braids that worked the morning and evening shift night of the 8/7/23.

Voor de 3e keer hier verbleven. Personeel is erg vriendelijk (over het algemeen). Locatie dichtbij vliegveld St Maarten, zelfs op loopafstand. Kamer was goed met genoeg faciliteiten (belangrijkste: goede airco).

沙灘不錯，可見飛機起降，包三餐的形式適合我這樣的懶人，很省心，退房當天除了房間不能進，外面餐廳和咖啡館，小吃點，酒吧，都還可以自由出入。

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The service was the worst of all. Not one staff had a smiling face even though we kept tipping them a lot and they were still very rude. Seems like this resort has major management issues. Poor supervision and food was not so great.

Lobby is stunning. The pool is a little disappointing. First time I encountered a pool with liner at a resort. Not enough pool loungers, everything was taken by 8am so nowhere to sit by pool. Food was so so, definitely not the best. But location is everything. You can see planes landing from the resort or from rooms. For this reason, we loved the resort.

Overall experience was good. Front desk staffs were great, easy to talk to and very professional, the bag holders as well. However, some of the bar tenders (pool bar and bar close to the beach) need either to be re-trained or fired for their attitude. Unfortunately, I can't put everybody in the same category since we also experienced some nice bar tenders. Only one bad experience at the main dining buffet. A lady we asked for water, literally walked past us and rolled her eyes. We called her back and told her we didn't not want her service. An older lady was very nice to us and we gave a $50 tip. Attitude from employees is what is going to kill this business. You give us attitude, you won't get a tip. Folks need to realize that tips can be given at any time, just because I didn't give you one the first time, doesn't mean you won't get any later. Maybe I just didn't have it at that time.

I loved the hospitality, the location, the food, and the entertainment. I didn’t like that there was not enough seating around the pool to accommodate guests. You have to wake up early and lay a towel on a chair to save a seat. Also, the elevator in the middle was not working therefore wait time for the elevator was longer. I give 4 stars for these reasons. Hotel staff was AMAZING!!

This is my second Sonesta brand stay and wont be my last. The staff was super friendly and had answers for all our question about not only the hotel but St. Marteen on a whole! Will be back!

This is a great all inclusive resort next to Maho beach. The food was good, staff friendly. Very neat watching the planes come in. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the ****** across the street from us was blasting music until 4 am for 3 out of the 4 nights we were there. This made sleeping difficult. I would recommend you stay on the pool side of the hotel to avoid this.

We have been coming to the Sonesta in St Marten for years- the level of cleanliness and condition of the rooms and service has definitely declined. We stayed at both Ocean Point and Sonesta and I wouldn’t pay that kind of money again for the lack of attention to cleanliness and details again. A lot of other places to stay that charge a lot less for what we experienced.

The food was great and the staff members were amazing. Nicole from food service hands down the best waitress. Mickel at the pool bar worked alone and never did anyone have to wait for a drink. He was speedy, efficient and drinks were always tasty.

Billed as all inclusive and it actually is compared to the Divi Little Bay Beach- which is a scam! DO NOT GO TO THE DIVI LITTLE BAY BEACH.——— THIS in the place to go. We left here and went there to change things up- massive mistake- just save yourself getting ripped off and stay here at the Sonesta. Very clean, great food, staff is happy to help and very close to the airport-
