Location is convenient: you can walk from Hauptbanhof, you can walk to Old Town and to many Tourist points of interest. I think it is no more than 15 minutes walkin and the way is easy to walk even with heavy luggage. Check-in experience was perfect: the man in charge was very kind and helpful. Even if our room was not ready (it was earlier than check-in time) he gave us several helpful suggestions about Christmas markets. We found Hannover a beautiful place, more beautiful than it is said. The room was very comfortable and , again, having a problem with the shower, someone from the staff immediately helped us. Breakfast was great: plenty of choices and you can make up to make a healthy one. Great! The only down was the Restaurante: first time, at lunch, the young lady in charge was very helpful and the soup though a quite small portion was delicious. Dinner was completly different: the man who helped us did not bring us bread, though all other tables got it. It was impossible to get a slight variation on one of the dishes and, finally, we ate what we could. We ordered parmesan for the pasta and he never brought it to us. When we finally pointed out that everything had not been to the expected level, he was not very receptive nor offered an apology. The next day the attention improved a little but, definitely, they catered much better to the German speakers, at least it was what we felt. Menu do not offer many possibilities but the place is pleasant and the Christmas decoration was beautiful. Fitness center though not very big is OK. A place to have in mind when going to Hannover.

Lots of good points to the hotel Superb room! really large, well equiped, very quiet being in the roof! really comfortable beds - slept very well. Bathroom fine but a bit dated, and the shower flooded the bathroom floor however hard we tried to stop it! Breakfast was good - varying selection of all manner of fruit, cereals, yoghurts, breads, pastries, cold cuts. Hot food station too. Really enjoyed our breakfasts! The reception staff were SO helpful especially Nandi - hope that's right... went out of her way to book us on a tour to the fabulous World of Kitchens Museum (HIGHLY recommend this museum) to tell us how to get from A to B... saved us a lot of money by telling us about 'group' tram all day tickets too. Tram station 2 minute walk from the hotel but easy 45 mins walk to centre of town which we did a lot. Can walk back via the park too! BIG down side....NO provision for evening food bar room service.. .well if they condescend to actually give it to you! We arrived Monday afternoon......Monday Pelikan Bar closed (unless a smoker, stench inside prevents non smokers going in it!) Monday 12 Apostel restaurant closed too - rest of the week it was doing Xmas parties so not open to hotel guests! The Stromboli restaurant 5 minute walk was really good for Monday but fully booked for the rest of the week!!!!! We saw THREE other guests getting 'room service' served in the reception area as we sat there talking (we don't go on holiday to eat room service nightly in our room!) so, seeing a good looking club sandwich being served we asked the waiter if we could order the same. Yes, he said... he started to take the order, suddenly said... Oh I can't multi task, I can't do this, sorry, you must go to the Pelican Bar instead and walked off!!!! we were furious! So for the rest of the week all 4 of us ate at the Xmas markets and had a far better choice of food, served piping hot by happy people glad to have our custom and money! I told reception what has happened... I asked to speak to a duty manager or manager.... no duty manager, hotel manager in Munich... so I asked who was in charge... 'a good question' was the answer... I gave up! We of course wont be going back to a Sheraton, this is our second below standard stay in one of their hotels. There are plenty of other great hotels who know how to treat their guests properly!

I have stayed here because it is convenient to my work location and I just needed to stay one night. The hotel is not that easy to reach by public, only connections are with bus. If you need to go to the city center it’s not to stay here. What I liked is that there is a large park just around the corner named Eilenriede. Good for morning and/or after work runs. The hotel itself is very run down. The size of the room is good but the interior is old and some stuff need replacement. There were large stains on the carpet and you don’t even want to walk without socks or shoes there. My room was more to the back of the hotel, unfortunately there is a big construction side behind the hotel and they started working at 6.30. I had the window open to get some fresh air and was waken-up by this noise. In terms of loyalty I am platinum member with Wyndham and as I can say there was no recognition at all. Even points were not credited automatically and I had to request it. I know they had my membership number as it was printed on the registration paper I had to sign. Breakfast was not used so I can not say anything about this.

An der Rezeption wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Der Wunsch ein Taxi zu bestellen wurde sofort erfüllt. Zimmerservice wurde von uns nicht gewünscht, in warmen Monaten sollte trotzdem der Papierkorb sowie der Hygieneeimer geleert werden. Außerdem sollte man darauf achten das ausreichend Hygieneartikel wie Toilettenpapier vorhanden sind. Wir waren zu viert im Zimmer. Am letzten Tag war das Toilettenpapier alle.

Das Einchecken war sehr freundlich und es standen Äpfel und Erfrischungen in der Lobby. Ebenfalls gibt es zum Shuttleservice zum Flughafen nur Positives zu berichten, pünktlich und hilfsbereit. Vom Zimmer hätte ich mir mehr erwartet. Es ist geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet und sehr geräumig und absolut sauber. Allerdings frage ich mich, warum es kein ”helles” Licht gibt. Die Lampen im Zimmer werfen nur dunkles indirektes Licht. Es war nicht möglich das Zimmer hell zu erleuchten. Das schlug ganz schön aufs Gemüt. Der Schalter zwischen Nachttischlampe und Leselampe war defekt, also gar nicht vorhanden, nur das Innenleben war sichtbar, was ich für gefährlich halte. Zwar wirbt das Leonardo mit schallisolierten Fenstern. Ich konnte keinen Unterschied zu normal verglasten Fenstern feststellen und es war unglaublich laut in der Nacht. Hinzu kam noch die Hellhörigkeit, so dass wir die Fernseher, Toilettengeräusche etc. der Nachbarzimmer gut hören können. Einen Wasserkocher wie in der Zimmerbeschreibung angepriesen, gab es bei uns nicht. Nur eine Kapselmaschine stand zur Verfügung. Damit mussten wir für unseren Tee das Wasser bereiten und somit schmeckte der Tee nach Kaffee. Auch sehr schade, dass nicht auf Nachhaltigkeit geachtet wird und tatsächlich noch Kaffeekapseln angeboten werden. Für eine Nacht, um zum Flughafen zu gelangen, ist es OK. Einen längeren Aufenthalt kann ich nicht empfehlen.

Das Hotel ist im großen und ganzen zu empfehlen. Betten, Bad sowie das gesamte Ambiente sind stimmig zueinander. Das Frühstücksangebot ist reichlich aber nicht überladen. Auch das Personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich! Kritik gibt es an der Sauberkeit um und im Hotel. Draußen liegt fast überall Müll und die Scheiben sind schmutzig. Auf dem Zimmer sieht es Oberflächlich sauber aus. Allerdings beim Blick u.a. auf den Klorollenhalter der im Staub versinkt aber auch die Spiegel die noch Streifen aufweisen, Edelstahlapplikationen die bunt sauber sind......... Das Waschbecken lief nicht bzw sehr langsam ab. Ein Zimmertausch wurde uns angeboten. Es herrscht Handlungsbedarf. Da sind wir anderes gewohnt. Schade

I recently had a comfortable stay at Courtyard by Marriott Hannover Maschsee. The room was not only spacious and offered a captivating view of Maschsee. The friendly staff contributed significantly to the overall positive atmosphere, always ready to assist and make the stay comfortable. One of the key advantages of this hotel is its strategic location. It's conveniently close to both tourist attractions and the city center, making it an ideal choice for those looking to explore Hannover. The accessibility to nearby points of interest added immense value to my trip.

This hotel is at the central bus station called ZOB which is not the best area in Hannover. It is however very near to the city centre (Hauptbahnhof, Kröpcke). The parking is opposite in a public parking and ther is no direct connection. With a lot of luggage you can face some problems. We read previous reviews that staff is super unfriendly and unhelpful which we can confirm for when we arrived as well as had a question about parking in front of the hotel to load the luggage (advice: don't do it as it is strictly prohibited by the city, but the receptionist did not seem to be bothered by us or our request). However, when we left the hotel an older woman was at the reception and she was super friendly! The younger staff should definitely take her as an example on how to be in the hotel industry. We did not try any food there, so cannot comment on that. The rooms are outdated and only some are renovated, however, there are HUGE, which is a BIG pluspoint for us, especially in December with all the additional presents and what not.

We went for a 50 year bday...what a mistake..we had been 2 x and I especially chose this hotel on the way to Denmark because i knew it..arrived in hotel late...got a room on 1 st floor no airco and fridge not working. Called reception. Answer: our technical team hasn't reported anything.. airco working fine...my answer : but I am telling u it doesn't work...1 collegue came to say come to reception and chg room this colleague very friendly. second person saying ur room is fine....we go down and got the most unfriendly and rude receptionist I have ever met. I have worked in several hotels as a receptionist so I know really well what this work is all about..but this guy...I reserved this hotel making a detour on our route to Denmark but had I known I would never have done this I paid for a superior room..no airco no fridge..was transferred with rolling eyes and shaking head into room with huge lump of hair on floor dirty bathroom glass and had to go back to rude receptionist to get bed done for my child who had just had operation and wasn't feeling well..we have been staying in a lot of Novotel hotels..london paddington Hammersmith hannover brussels...but this leaves a very bad experience and I am so sad I chose this hotel for such a special occasion.

Interestingly designed modern hotel with many passages between stairs, and connecting corridors. The staff was very courteous and professional. We only stayed one night in Hannover, but we realized that the hotel was conveniently located close to a bus stop, just two stops from the train station, so it was easily accessible. Also, that means that it was easy to get into town. There was a Lidl a few minutes away, which was great it one wanted to buy some water and groceries. However, there was no refrigerator in the room. The hotel provided two complimentary bottles of water and a couple of bags of gummy candy, which was very nice. Also, the room did not have an AC unit. Since the evenings were rather cool, it was not an issue. The room was very spacious and had a little sitting area with a chair and a wardrobe, that could be closed off by the door to the actual bedroom. The door to the bathroom led from that little area as well. There was no safe. Internet connection was strong and reliable. The room and bathroom were very clean, beds and mattresses were comfortable, pillows were not too soft and not too firm, and blankets warm. The neighborhood was quiet, and we had a very good night sleep. Overall, very good experience.
