I chose this hotel on Ctrip, and it's quite typical, having the advantages of a guesthouse with a few minor flaws. First off, its location is excellent, very convenient for getting around (though Furong Ancient Town isn't very big to begin with). My room opened into a small courtyard, and from the window, I had a panoramic view of the Youyang River and its scenery. The owner was also very kind, offering transfers to and from the high-speed rail station. Breakfast was a bit lacking (typical for guesthouses), but the minced pork noodles the auntie made were quite tasty. The air conditioning's heating worked well, though it was slow to start up. When you leave and pull the card, the power cuts off, so it takes a while for it to kick back in when you return, and it's a bit noisy. The shower's hot and cold water control wasn't very precise; a slight turn made it scalding, and a bit more made it cold. Overall, this guesthouse is very good. It's clean, and the room's bedding had no strange smells whatsoever. The facilities have a few minor imperfections, but they don't affect the overall stay experience. I would choose it again on my next visit.

The owners are really friendly and welcoming. When we arrived at noon with our suitcases, the owner immediately helped us with our luggage, and his wife was also very kind. The inn is about a fifteen-minute walk from the Tianmen Mountain cable car. However, the double room on the second floor doesn't get any sunlight, so it can be a bit dark. The twin room gets sunlight and would be a better option, so I'd recommend booking a twin room.

Facilities: The room comes with a washing machine, towel dryer, bathtub, crib, and a smart toilet. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: First-rate river view, absolutely picturesque! The morning sun is especially beautiful. Service: It's located on the other side of Feng Bridge, which can be a bit tricky to find for first-timers, so the owner specifically came out to pick me up.

Fantastic stay! The owner was incredibly warm and attentive, check-in was efficient, and they even kindly recommended local attractions. The room was clean and tidy with complete facilities, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The location is super convenient, within walking distance to all the sights. Excellent value for money, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm here. Highly recommend! Free drop-off at the East Gate (Landmark Gate) of the Forest Park.

Very good hotel/guesthouse. Very genuine and warm hosts. Helped me with planning and answered all my questions with regards to my time in Zhangjiajie. Location is just a few minutes walk to Tianmen Mountain. There is a bus station about 5-10 min walk that takes you straight to the zhangjiajie national park for 13 rmb. Countless food options and convenient stores right next door. Good stable wifi. Hot water was nice and stable and had no issues even with long showers. I slept well and had 0 issues with noise isolation at night. Only downside may be that it's a 5 story building with no elevator; the genuine love and energy from the host along with every other pro more than makes up for it. Absolutely amazing value for the money and will stay here again next time if when I'm in town

Great location and family business management, easy access to reach the old town main attractions, room was spacious and comfortable, very clean and tidy (nice bed, shower and very quiet). Great breakfast. All the staff were welcoming and helpful! They made all the efforts to receive us well and make sure we enjoy Furongzhen buying discount tickets and picking us up at the train station. Since it was our anniversary we received an upgrade to a room with a beautiful view of the city. I recommend doing the in and out transfers with them since it is hassle free.

The guesthouse is incredibly close to the Changbai Mountain Scenic Area. The owner has fantastic taste; it's a shame we were in such a rush this time that we couldn't fully enjoy the stay. On the first floor, they also have a variety of creative souvenirs. I bought my daughter some duckies, and she absolutely adored them! After a morning of hiking, a lovely bath in the evening completely washed away all my aches and pains. The guesthouse's towels were incredibly soft, which really shows how much care the owner puts into the details. Erdaobaihe Town is absolutely beautiful; I particularly enjoyed strolling through the parks. I truly hope to bring my daughter back here again someday!

Staying at their room with scenic views in the corner was a dream! You have one ride to or from the highspeed train station, which is very convenient (specially to go to the train station from the hotel, since it’s more difficult to find Didi). The hosts were kind and the room was clean. The bed was so confortable and cozy! Above all, the views were incredible. Highly recommend!

This inn deserves a perfect score! The most stunning feature is the private balcony in the room, facing the Furong Ancient Town waterfall directly. You can sit on the rattan chair, feel the mist on your face, and listen to the roar of nature – this immersive waterfall viewing experience is truly one-of-a-kind. The inn's soundproofing was a pleasant surprise; once the floor-to-ceiling windows were closed, the sound of the waterfall became a faint background hum, ensuring a remarkably peaceful night's sleep. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, and the bedding was soft and spotless, showing thoughtfulness in every detail. Breakfast offered authentic Xiangxi flavors: piping hot rice noodles were spicy and appetizing, the rice tofu was tender and refreshing, and the handmade pastries were soft and subtly sweet, complemented by seasonal fruits – it provided all the energy needed for the day! The staff always greeted us with smiles and proactively offered tips on exploring the ancient town, making us genuinely feel at home. From the breathtaking views to the detailed service, this inn perfectly embodies 'poetic dwelling' and is absolutely a highlight of any trip to Furong Ancient Town!

It is located in a great location in Miao Village. The room facilities are unexpectedly good. The owner upgraded us to a suite for free and provided considerate pick-up and drop-off. The most comfortable thing is that the owner's mother cooks delicious food. It is the most delicious meal I have had in Hunan in recent days. Full of praise!
