Из плюсов: хороший пляж, тихая бухта, где прозрачная водичка и не было волн и водорослей, очень мало людей, на весь пляж от силы 5 небольших отелей. Вечером есть рестораны на пляже. Классный массаж про отеле с шикарным видом на море, нам понравился, ходили каждый день. Хороший бассейн, красивая небольшая территория, стандартные завтраки без излишков, но и голодными не оставались. Очень милый персонал, помогали решать любые вопросы! Даже переселили нас в более дорогой номер без доплаты. В номере все аскетично, но для удобства есть все необходимое. Из минусов: удаленность от цивилизации, обязательно нужен транспорт, как минимум байк, на такси не наездитесь. Рядом негде даже купить фрукты, до ближайшего 7 елевен ехать на байке минут 7-10, пешком в горку не дойти. В целом нам понравилось проживание в этом отеле, думаю что вернулись бы еще туда!

The Vannee is a 3.5 star hotel but we can’t do half stars here. The hotel lacks details on most ends but overall a decent place to stay. The breakfast was not good for the 2 days of our stay. The true standout aspect of this hotel is the massive pool that expands the length of the grounds. There is a swimup pool bar.

It's a nice and relaxing beach, to get away and wind off a bit. The room was super clean and new, and was quite nice with a balcony. There are very few plugs in the room, and the bedside plug was obstructed by the mattress and the bed, so it was unusable. There's a pool but it had a lot of sand from the kids running in and out of the beach and jumping directly into the pool... The beach, facing sunrise, is perfect and one of the nicest ones on the island, along with the larger one on the other bay next door. The SUPs and kayaks were old and broken. It had a very nice breakfast, which was included. Service was good, but I was upset that they claimed the hotel was going to be fully booked and couldn't offer a late checkout, although there were plenty of rooms available on trip.com to book, and when later that day I said that, they changed the story and said my room was already booked for the next day.

Overall the hotel was nice but in several point not what we expected: We booked a „villa with sea view“. There was no sea view at the villa that was assigned to us. You couldn’t see the sea neither from within the villa nor from the pool nor from the sun beds nor from the outside bath tub. The only way to see a glimpse of the sea was to stand up on a certain spot on the terrace. That’s not what we expected from a room advertised as „with sea view“ and the (trip.com) booking page also suggested otherwise. When we complained, we got assigned another villa where we could see the sea partly. Thank you for that. However, the manager told us that the photos from the booking page were in fact another villa. But it's not my responsibility to make sure that the photos and pictures provided on booking pages are correct. The hotel has to take care of that! This holds also true for the next issue: The gym was closed due to renovation. In the booking process, they advertised a huge fitness center with lots of machines. Now it’s shut down and we did not get any information about this. The „mini gym“, which does not even have at least one multi exercise machine, is nothing but a bad joke and no replacement at all for a proper gym! Again the staff told us they would inform about this on their website. When I checked that, I still found the photos of the large gym on their own website. It was just called ”mini gym”. But how am I supposed to know what they mean by that and that the provided photos are no longer correct??

I have been to Koh Phangan about 20 times. I think this resort is the best hotel in Koh Phangan. The amenities, hospitality, food, and friendly staff are truly amazing. Non, one of the staff members, was very accommodating to us. I would recommend any family or couple that doesn't like to party to stay at this resort. But if you are a partygoer, you would be better off staying at Haad Rin or Ban Thai.

Haad Yao beach has become one of the best walking/swimming/nightlife beaches on the island, and Bayview sits right at its North end. You get a beach resort experience -- pool, restaurant, convenience store, and frequent room cleaning -- all for a guesthouse price. I have stayed at Bayview many times, and I always return. The views from some of the rooms are magnificent! Prices fluctuate quite a bit by demand (e.g. higher during Fullmoon parties) but if you keep this in mind, it is possible to work with staff to secure good deals.

Located in a cozy corner of the island, this coffee spot is a hidden gem offering a perfect blend of relaxation and great coffee. The ambiance is laid-back with comfortable seating, making it an ideal spot to unwind or catch up with friends. The staff is welcoming and attentive, adding a personal touch to the experience. The coffee itself is rich and aromatic, with a variety of options to satisfy all tastes, from classic espresso to creative lattes. They also offer fresh pastries and light snacks, which pair perfectly with the drinks. Overall, it’s a must-visit for coffee lovers seeking quality in a serene environment.

We were here for 4 nights as a couple. Basically we liked our stay very much, but we can not recommend the small bungalows. We stayed in the cheapest bungalow and it was so small that you could not even place the open suitcase. In addition, windows and doors were not tight, so we had many mosquitoes in the room. Unfortunately, the air conditioner was also right above our heads, so we both caught colds. When using the shower, the whole bathroom floods because the drain is at the other end of the room. Also, there are no electrical outlets in the bathroom. But otherwise the room was clean and the bed was large and comfortable. We especially liked the hotel grounds. It is really in the middle of the beach, there is soft sand everywhere and the restaurant is also right at the water. There is also a pool table and a ping pong table, both of which we used very often. Special praise must be given to the helpful, friendly hotel staff, who were always eager to make one's stay as comfortable as possible. When we arrived the first evening, our window would not close. There were some communication difficulties with the ladies at the reception because they really didn't understand a word of English. In the following days, however, all the ladies at the reception could speak perfect English, which made communication much easier. Nevertheless, the ladies gave us a new room for one night, which was a great relief. Right next to the hotel is a scooter rental. We rented a scooter here, which was really uncomplicated and cheap. In the area there is very cheap and delicious street food, for example at ”Mama Thai Food” or ”Life Style” with super nice owners. The breakfast in the hotel is delicious and there is a choice of several dishes. However, it is ”a la carte” and you can only order one dish. The portion is a bit small for a grown man, so you would actually have to order 2-3 dishes to get full. Even the most expensive breakfast ”Milky Bay Breakfast” includes only 2 slices of toast, 2 fried eggs, a few mushrooms, 2 slices of tomato and a single piece of bacon (?!). Fortunately, free fruit (pineapple or watermelon) is always offered as well, which helps you get a little fuller. Conclusion: if I had to rate our room exclusively, I would only give the resort 2 out of 5 stars. I've slept in beachfront bungalows in Thailand that cost between 10€-20€ per night and were more comfortable and modern than our bungalow (50€ per night). However, due to the fantastic service, the great facility and the nice staff I give 4 out of 5 stars and the following advice: Don't book the smallest, cheapest bungalow! We saw the better rooms from the outside and they looked really big and modern. If we had stayed in such a room, I would have definitely given 5 out of 5 stars!

We had a really lovely stay here! Our room was bright and comfortable. The girls on reception were extremely friendly and helpful - they always greeted us with a smile and helped us book a snorkelling day trip, muy Thai and also our transport back to Bangkok. Our room had a lot of mosquitos around at night so prepare some spray or ask reception for some mosquito repellent that you can burn outside - they are always happy to help. The hotel is right on the beach front and it was such a nice location on the beach we didn’t even use the pool. The sun is on this side of the island pretty much all day so you are able to bun bathe and then watch the sunset at night. The restaurant food was nice - mix of western and Thai foods. Would highly recommend a coconut smoothie! Thank you for such a lovely stay to end our time in Thailand. We will definitely be back in the future. ขอบคุณมาก!

We looooved that hotel. The architecture is really nice and modern. Not always practical, but that didn't really bother us. We loved the infinity pool which has a perfect lenght for swimming too. The location was perfect for us: Being in a super nice hotel surrounded by the jungle but in just a few minutes scooter ride (10-15 minutes) at hot spots, like Secret Beach, Zen Beach, Thongsala etc. The team was really nice and friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Restaurant was good and reasonably priced.
