Do to hurricane threatening our home in Florida we chose to head West and landed on this hotel to provide shelter from the storm. Let me start by saying the entire staff was exceptional from the valet to the front desk to the bartender at the pool. We chose this hotel because they accept dogs/pets without a lot of stipulations other than a modest fee compared to other hotels we have stayed at. To say this hotel is pet friendly is an understatement. A lot of families staying here under the same conditions and only positive experiences for our four legged family members. Valet was incredible and even remembered the names of our pets. Pet friendly aside the hotel is charming and the rooms are clean, well kept and spacious. The Joe Cain bartenders in the lobby make a mean bloody mary and each one puts their own spin on it. The pizza at the pool area that comes from Joe Cain was really tasty. The spa is exceptional, the pool is spacious and they have tennis courts and a really nice fitness center.

Saya memerlukan bilik untuk satu malam kerana saya menghadiri pertunjukan di Downtown Mobile. Setelah membaca ulasan dan melihat lokasi (yang sangat dekat dengan tempat itu), saya pergi bersama Candlewood. Ia sangat bagus, terutamanya untuk kosnya. Terdapat dapur mini di dalam bilik dengan peti sejuk bersaiz penuh, dua kompor, microwave dan sink. Bilik mandi sangat bagus dan berjalan-jalan mandi dengan pintu kaca gelangsar. Bilik saya mempunyai pemandangan pusat bandar yang hebat. Oh dan tilam ..... oh ya ampun! Saya tergoda untuk menanggalkan penutup untuk melihat jenama itu! Mereka sangat selesa dan selesa. Juga, kakitangannya sangat hebat! Matthew adalah siapa saya bercakap di meja depan dan dia benar-benar hebat! Saya pasti akan menempah bilik di sini lagi ketika saya pergi ke Mobile.

I typically don't leave bad reviews of hotels, but I was very disappointed by my stay at this Holiday Inn. The lobby and restaurant area were nice. However, the elevator and the hallways had a musty odor and were stuffy. Either they don't have air in the hallways or just don't turn it on. The carpet on all floors are stained and need to be cleaned. Both headboards in the room were discolored, appears to be bleach. Upon inspecting the sheets on one of the beds, the sheets were stained and one of the pillow cases. I had to request new sheets. The bathroom had ants and the vent was very dusty. I would have went to another hotel, but all hotels in the area were booked as I was there for a basketball tournament.

Driving up, we almost left because if the appearance but I'm glad we didn't. They are definitely under construction and some of the amenities are not available ( pool and excersise room), but the room are great. This is probably the cleanest room I've stayed in and I used to travel alot. The air was on 65 when we came in which was a nice suprise. The breakfast was decent, with a Pancake machine. A variety of bagels and toast, microwavable breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, and cereals. But they will soon have a full hot breakfast once they switch over to Holiday Inn Express. Every employee was incredibly nice.The only complaint, and it is not their fault ( but I wish I had seen a review mention it) ,is that there was alot of traffic noise from the interstate since it is right by it. Between that and what sounded like grass being cut at 6:30 in the morning I could not sleep in like we had intended.

My wife and I enjoyed everything about our visit even the children enjoying themselves at the pool. The room was huge and very clean, and the bed was soft and extremely comfortable. The most awesome staff anywhere, and the price can not be beat. We will definitely visit again soon.
