GGuest UserThe hotel is the only hotel facing the main street of Nantongluo Lane. It is quiet as soon as you enter the door and bustling as soon as you open the door. It is 500 meters away from the subway, convenient for shopping and snacks, and Houhai is just ahead. The room without windows is also quite large and doesn't feel depressing. The room does not have central air conditioning but a cabinet unit, which affects sleep a bit. Also, the sound insulation is a bit poor.

GGuest UserExcellent accommodation in the Hutongs of Beijing! The room itself was clean and comfortable, the hotel was very beautiful and the location was perfect! Just step outside the entrance, turn left and walk straight down to find the most amazing food and snack options!

TTrip5321Have long been a fan of the Orchid and often visit the restaurants co located there - Toast and TBS are favourites. As such, with family visiting the Orchid was the obvious choice!
An amazing location tucked in the Hutongs near the Bell and Drum towers. Both in the surrounding area and venue itself, spoilt for choice for food and restaurants. Room was cosy, clean and beautifully decorated. Two very friendly cats too. Staff genuinely fantastic and went above and beyond throughout our time there - thank you!
The only fault - and reason for ranking amenities lower currently - is that there is significant work taking place at the reception (March 2025). I was aware of this having visited Toast in Feb however, had hoped this would’ve been completed by our stay and was disappointed at still being charged at the full rate given this disruption. In addition to a crowded check in / lack of communal space, this also meant rerouting through the restaurants (and up / down winding stairs), so one to note for anyone with accessibility requirements.
Nevertheless a great stay and hope to be back again soon!

GGuest UserI rarely write long reviews, but this homestay made me unable to help post Jiugongge, which is really lingering!
The environment is first-rate, in the downtown area without noisy, people feel more comfortable and comfortable, the weather is warmer than winter, but I am very lucky to meet the snow scene ～
The homemade afternoon tea in the store is healthy and delicious, with animal cream, beautiful and delicious, people have a endless aftertaste; the western pizza is roasted absolutely delicious, people's index finger.
Not only has accommodation, but also a high-end homestay integrating food, lodging and entertainment. The service is thoughtful and intimate, making people feel at home.
The street where the homestay is located is a tourist area. Listening to the boss's statement that the murals of Haisi are worth seeing. Since there is no reservation in advance, this trip is not visible, and it will be made up next time.
In short, this homestay is definitely worth recommending, it is a good place for people to yearn for!

Choosing the Milean Hotel for my business trip turned out to be an excellent decision, largely thanks to its strategic location which offered immense convenience and was a pleasant surprise. Situated in Sidaokou, the vibrant core of Zhongguancun, it's an absolute godsend for those of us who regularly interact with internet giants. Its proximity to client headquarters dramatically reduced commute times and costs, making business meetings exceptionally easy and efficient.
What's more, the transportation network here is incredibly comprehensive and simply perfect. Whether you're heading to Beijing North Station for high-speed rail or connecting at the Xizhimen transportation hub, both are just a short ride away, ensuring seamless transitions for your onward journey. For tourists keen on exploring the city, it also serves as an ideal base, offering easy access to Haidian District's many tech parks and prestigious universities.
After a busy day, the hotel's comfortable and quiet ambiance provided the perfect retreat. The professionalism and friendliness of the front desk staff also added a significant touch of warmth to my stay. It perfectly marries the efficiency required for business with the convenience sought by travelers. I highly recommend it to all business travelers and tourists looking to explore Beijing efficiently. This truly was an outstanding value-for-money stay!

JJim ⁵ᴳIn the hutong next to Chongwenmen subway station, it is an authentic Beijing hutong. There is a small supermarket nearby where you can buy things. It is easy to find by walking according to the navigation. The room I booked has a window according to the introduction, but when I went in, I found that it was a fake window and could not be ventilated. There is a small courtyard. The overall hygiene is OK. The only shortcoming is that the sound insulation is not very good. You can hear the conversation next door 🤣
