I usually do not post reviews, but I had to this time to share my experiences. I stayed for a total of 5 nights, Tue and check out on Sunday(7-12 Feb 2023) Plus point -Location is really good , plenty of thai/chinese restaurants and room is huge. -Bed is comfortable, -Yoshie is one that was one more friendly staff that I remembered her name , please give her a raise or wine on me.(she is a Japanese, in case i got her name wrong) Hotel staff, is a on and off experience. The night ones tend to be more ”cold” and the day ones are much better.( again, Yoshie was the ”better” ones, there are more, but I couldnt remember their name) Now on to the exciting part... Tuesday- Checkin day, A smooth day but without hand towels and when I asked for them before leaving the place for a concert. ( they claim they were in laundry or something and I find it hard to believe for a 5 star accommodation) We were without a frying pan as well( they send it up though when i called for it) Wed- Requested for toothbrush/Toiletries and had to request again after waiting for more than an hour, as it was forgotten ,I presumed Thu- Requested to change towel when we went out in morning, nothing was done when we were back in evening. I especially informed the morning reception guys to not forget it, but someone in the middle must have forgotten it. Evening time, The staff upon informing said they will have it there in 10 mins, which they did. By the way, the phone became faulty but I didn't bother to inform as I thought I wont have much trouble with it not in use. I was wrong. Friday- The express cleaning end-up with all the towels taken away and, thats it. We found out when we were back in evening. We were left with no towels and on top of that the phone was not working so I had to go downstairs to inform the reception/staff , on night shift i suppose. Again they said would be there in 10 mins, which more or less they did. Saturday- There was a huge cockroach and I had to kill it myself, informed the staff downstairs but honestly I dont expect change of room or anything, just to feedback. From the above, you can see there were full of dramas and I think these are basic expectations.(especially the towel part) Would I be back there if I ever go Sydney again? Unlikely.

Was just a overnight stay so we couldn't enjoy the facilities or the food, but what a luvly surprise getting a Studio Apartment than the normal room, found it very spacious luvly nights stay ....staff at checkin warm and friendly as well.

This unit is over-priced. We stayed in a double unit, the two of us, which is better suited to either 2 couples or 2 adults and 2 kids which would justify the price. Upstairs is almost a carbon copy of downstairs in that both have almost full kitchens (no ovens), excellent reverse cycle air conditioning, TV's etc. Other than a very old, very off carton of milk left in the fridge the unit was exceptionally clean. Upon arriving, we were asked to pay which we had already done when booking. Beware no refunds once booked although this didn't apply in our case. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and helpful. Had to ask for toilet paper and purchase milk as only two small milk thimbles in fridge. Expected to wash up, dry and put away dishes and utensils before leaving and remove all garbage. We usually do this anyway but I thought it was quite an ask to be expected at those prices. It's post-Covid so I am wondering if lack of staff is the reason for this and perhaps this may change in the future. No buffet or restaurant on site. No room service. Don't expect any meals. No foxtel as advertised. At least we couldn't get it but they did have Netflix provided. We took our chromecast with us, thank goodness! The pool is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. Maybe 25 metres? Also, in the afternoon a lot of it is shaded. It's not heated so it's pretty chilly even in late November. The beach is gorgeous but the room we had didn't have views and the units are in the street behind the main shops so whilst very close to the beach (a mere two minutes) it isn't overlooking the beach. Also, very tight carpark if you have a larger car. I would recommend the family unit or double unit for 3 to 4 people. Otherwise stick to a single unit. I probably would not return unless with another couple because there are nicer places with more amenities that don't expect you to do the housework at the same or even better prices.

The warmth with which we were greeted upon arrival was only the beginning of our enchanting journey. Despite it being a busy weekend, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and hassle-free. Their genuine interest in our well-being, coupled with their attention to detail, made us feel truly pampered. Our room, a serene haven, was tastefully decorated, blending modern amenities with subtle touches of elegance. A sweeping view of the city skyline against the setting sun from our window was simply mesmerizing, adding an extra layer of magic to our stay. The cleanliness and peaceful ambiance of the room were second to none, contributing to our restful nights. Evening walks in the hotel's serene gardens, imbued with the soft scent of blooming flowers, brought us closer to nature and each other. Meanwhile, the sleek, tranquil spa with its range of rejuvenating treatments further elevated our stay. Our experience at The Elysium was indeed a magical escape, made even more special by the fact that we shared these wonderful moments together. It was a refreshing break, a chance to disconnect from the mundane, and reconnect with each other. Our memories of this place are etched in our hearts, making us yearn to return when the opportunity arises. We left The Elysium with heavy hearts but with the promise of a future visit. It was more than just a hotel, it was an experience, a beautiful chapter in our lives, that we would happily revisit.

I was pleased with everything else when I stayed here, but I would like to say two improvements. The doors of the lobby didn't close properly, so a homeless man followed me into the hotel. But the staff was just irresponsible saying that that door sometimes doesn't close. And one more. Your hotel didn't do housekeeping after i extended. The day(23th) I extended my stay was the day I received housekeeping. But he said there was no housekeeping on extended days. Instead, he said he would do it tomorrow(24th). But he didn't. So I went to the reception on the 24th. The staff wearing hijabs told me that they would do it tomorrow(25th). But there was no housekeeping on the 25th. On the 25th, i visited the reception again and asked her to housekeep, but she said. ”You're checking out tomorrow. So i'm not asking for your housekeeping.” Is it right? She gave me a **** even though she knew I'd stayed here a long time. I'm upset that I went through this unpleasant thing at the end. I hope it will be improved so that things like me don't happen.

非常棒的公寓酒店。位置雖然不在city,但屬於地鐵上蓋,到機場或城裡都很近很方便。這次訂2房1廳,房間很大,客廳大,動靜分離,雙衞生間,還有個陽台。廚房用品齊全,大冰箱,還有大洗衣機和烘乾機,這對長時間出門太友好了,隨時隨地洗衣服。前台的小姐姐也很nice。衞生是2天打掃一次,掛不掛清潔牌子都一樣。樓下有肯德基麥當勞,小便利店,步行2分鐘有個小型超市。周邊有一些中餐館,都需要走一下。總體來講,對於來悉尼玩一週以上的家庭,非常的合適。就是酒店生意太好,想住要提前一週預訂。

I am writing reviews for APX Darlingharbour; to appreciate the extraordinary attributes that Mr Shakeeb demonstrates. ”Compassionate and kindness ”perhaps the two dominant detail are acquired -by the great leader - APX is always my number option because APX room amendments that other hotels don't have - as a returning loyal APX customer, I have noticed the extraordinary attributes of Mr Shakeeb, and I think it must be appreciated and recognised. I am very thankful to Mr Shakeeb for his outstanding character of Compassionate and kindness that became extremely helpful to foreigners like me. Once again, Mr Shakeeb, keep up the good 👍 work - your natural attributes of compassion and kindness are a big help for foreign travellers like me. And to all travellers, APX Darlinghabour and APX World Square - are highly recommended - they have great locations, excellent room amenities and great people that show great hospitality like what Mr Shakeeb h toad demonstrated. Keep up the good work And ViVA APx Team!

Stayed on a Sunday & Monday night for a birthday celebration. Dean & Nancy cocktail bar was closed (open only Wednesday to Saturday). We wanted to swim in the pool but the water didn't seem to be heated to 24 degrees, as we were told it would be. Room very comfortable and modern, but could do a bit better with cleanliness. Housekeeping didn't replenish tea/coffee/dishwashing liquid. Also the body wash container in the shower was empty, which was a bit inconvenient, as we had to step out of the shower and grab some from the one in the sink. We had two separate reservations over the two nights. We asked at check-in to link the two reservations, so we could stay in the same room, which was acknowledged. But then on the second day, upon returning to the hotel after having gone out for late breakfast, the access card wasn't working, so we had to go to reception again and do the check-in. Would have been nice to have done both on the first day, or at least being told that we had to get our keys re-activated on the second day.
