Mercure Yuyuan Hotel ialah hotel yang selalu saya pilih sejak kali pertama saya datang ke Shanghai. Sepanjang sepuluh tahun yang lalu, dia dan saya telah berkembang bersama, menjadi lebih baik dan lebih baik, dan menjadi lebih menawan. Summarize in short : they should keep this place only for Chinese speaker, not recommend for traveller with other languages. Base from my true experiences, I booked here the night before traveling to Shanghai. Once I check out from hotel in Guangzhou, front desk lady help me called reception at Shanghai Novotel Hotel Chuansha to ask if they can pick me and my partner at Pudong Airport as they advertised for a complimentary shuttle bus. The lady at Novotel cannot speak English so I passed to the front desk lady in Guangzhou and got to know that I have to book a shuttle bus a day ahead. I accepted this because I read info, just have hope if they could help customer with this, anyway I flew to Shanghai and went hotel by myself. On the way to Shanghai, I still have hope that receptionist at NOVOTEL will be able to speak English. When I arrived there, I met 3 receptionists and NONE OF THEM CAN SPEAK ENGLISH. We had a tough time to communicate. I have my own language and English, also broken Chinese but we still not understand each other. I had to call a friend of mine in Taiwan to speak Chinese to them. Again, I wanted to book a shuttle bus to Disney land for the next day and they ask me to have a Wechat app to see a detail and communicate. Since I do not have China mainland mobile number so I cannot make a Wechat work on my phone. My ********* friend still help me out with this. At that time, another lady came, seem like she work for shuttle bus thing. I do understand that Chinese tone of voice always loud but I cannot see mercy on her face. She consisted that we still need a Wechat. One lady there said, I have to take a taxi without Wechat even though the hotel provided us a free shuttle bus to Disneyland. At this point I a little upset as there is no choice that they can call or set me a time for my travel, _ucking asked me to take a taxi. I do not mind to pay for taxi but we have never been here so we worry about other unexpected factor could happen. Further more, I went there on my girlfriend birthday to celebrate her birthday. I decided to take it here a last minute and I asked if they could have a card written Happy Birthday to her. Only I know is ”NO CARD, NO CARD!!!! bad service mind ever, disappointed and felt give up with Novotel Yes, I picked NOVOTEL because I really hope they provided international services. I was a member of ACCOR PLUS and experienced such good services but since I experienced here, I am a failure. I actually have 2 more nights in Shanghai after 2nights here. I was thinking to move out all the time because me and my partner felt suffocate with a service. I do not talk to them anymore as it is useless T___T I even tried with my broken Chinese but I cannot feel that they put an effort to serve their guesses. No bellboy, air-conditioning at public area is pretty warm. To be honest, the place is good, bed is comfy and we tired from playing things in Disney land park so I extended to book for one more night then I do not need to rush for checking out. I went reception floor, this time a girl with glasses, seem kind and she is fluent in English help me check in for my last night here :) Whole time staying here I kept my mouse shut because don't want to feel unpleasant anymore and I feel like the robot that delivery food downstairs is working better than human lol. Eventually, I did tried until I can log into Wechat to found that the text were written in Chinese only. I still can travel with a hotel shuttle bus even I do not read thing on Wechat (我看不懂) 😔 I definitely won't be back here even things are good. Hotel is providing everything we needed which is good but they should hire people who able to speak English or people who able to use translate on google and else to communicate as they open for the whole world guess. Not only Chinese on earth but also another language exists. Last thing, key of hospitality is ”SERVICE MIND”

Bvlgari Unable to travel over the festive season, I decided to treat myself to a few days in a local hotel. What other choice was there, other than the Bvlgari? Prior to my arrival I received a call from the hotel. They confirmed my arrival time, made dinner reservations for me, added me to WeChat and offered me any other help that I required. Upon arrival I was greeted by Eva. She checked me in and immediately offered me a late check out time of 14:00. This was extended further on the final day to 16:00. Fantastic! More time to relax by the pool and in the sauna. Having checked me in, Eva gave me a tour of the property. The Bvlgari is stunning!From the stylish restoration of the Chamber of Commerce building to the sleek, modern interior of the main building. The Bvlgari is located in an excellent position by Suzhou Creek. It offers dazzling views of Lujiazui , the Huangpu River and the rear of The Bund. Perhaps one of the best views in the city. Of course, the room was magnificent. Huge TV, super comfortable bed, walk-in wardrobe and a wide selection of drinks and snacks, most of which were complimentary. I especially thought the pillow mist was a nice touch. In addition to the welcome snacks, Eva brought me a desert from their little cabin outside. A delicious Italian, vanilla donut- like desert. Good job I didn’t have lunch that day. I dined at both the Italian and Chinese restaurants. Both of which offer amazing food. The Italian presents simplistic fare with the emphasis on fresh ingredients. The vegetable broth and specialty bread is to die for. The Chinese restaurant offers high quality Cantonese food and an alternative wine selection to that in the main building. The sommelier suggested a great wine pairing for the meal and also provided a complimentary glass of champagne and a coffee liqueur before escorting back to the hotel. Le Mer products are used in the spa! Yes, this is fantastic. My therapist, Daisy, had me in the state of being between consciousness and unconsciousness many times during the course of my treatment. Just what I was looking for. The staff at the Bvlgari are excellent. Young, professional and obviously well trained, evident through their subject knowledge and warm hearted service. All the staff consistently addressed me by name and ensured that my stay was perfect. Whilst at the bar, one of the girls presumed I was asking for the bill, when actually I was asking for another drink. I left to visit the WC and returned to find a note apologizing for her misunderstanding of English accompanying a complimentary desert with my drink. That was amazing! Thank you, Elsker. It’s often the small things that make a difference. Whilst walking to my room one of the room attendants was vacuuming the carpet. She abruptly stopped and waited for me to pass. Whilst at the pool, I headed towards the jacuzzi. Some of the staff appeared to be fixing or checking something, but they swiftly disappeared as I emerged. Upon checkout, Eva was waiting for me with a gift bag containing chocolates. This was in addition to the luggage tags and toiletries that were gifted by the turn down service the previous night. Eva called me a car to take me home. Whilst I waited she filled my gift bag with sweets from the huge jars of confectionery in the lobby. As the doorman approached to let me know my car had arrived, he also presented a small gift of Bvlgari toiletry products. What an amazing experience.! Truly remarkable. I will definitely return and I’ll be adding locations in Paris, London, Bali and Milan to my list of places to visit. Thank you to the entire Bvlgari team. From those excellent customer facing members of staff to those who are behind the scenes and make things run so well. You all do a fantastic job and I wish you all the greatest success on the future. If you get a chance, visit the Bvlgari.

Great experience from check in to check out.. Breakfast buffet available. Great fitness, spa, and swimming pool area that all opens at 8a (late for a fitness area since we like early morning workouts). The from desk staff very organized and accommodating. Room service and other dining options throughout the day available. Perfect location to walk to the Jing’An area and even Kerry Centre. Easy pick up cabins for meituan. Will stay again if I make another appointment.

Location is pretty remote-difficult to get around the area without a car as no bikes available in this region of the island. The resort itself was fantastic but only one gate was available to leave which made it awkward, food is very expensive in the restaurant and activities were limited at this time of the year. On the plus side, breakfast was excellent, the walkways within the resort were awesome and hotel shuttle service to get around the resort is great too. Great resort for families and especially if you have a car! I would stay again, but probably get a driving license first 😂.

As always, we loved our stay at The Senz Hotel and Spa! Ms Vanessa and all front desks staff were very accommodating, We had a great dinner at Estilo restaurant, staff were great! food was delicious! especially the steak was perfectly cooked as requested. Will definitely come back to Senz for another relaxing getaway.

Very bad experience with this hotel,I reserved one night stay at this hotel via trip.com and paid about $83 (equivalent to 600 CNY) a couple of months ago. I arrived yesterday after midnight, the hotel asked me to pay again plus 500 CNY deposit, so I paid $156 (equivalent to 1100 CNY = 600 CNY + 500 CNY deposit) for about 8 hours stay, I left at 8:30 am, the hotel still owes me 500 CNY. Seems like the hotel doesn’t trust trip.com.

這家酒店的員工服務態度明顯存在兩極化現象。 辦理入住時是在晚上,一位年輕的女職員在我們等待期間與我們聊天,介紹酒店的設計,並主動為家人拍照。大堂空盪盪的,同行的長者沒有地方可以坐下等我辦理入住手續。當晚由Kody協助我們辦理入住,他的服務態度非常友善,很有禮貌,雖然關於用Visa卡付款按金的操作有些不熟練,最終由另一位女職員介入完成了交易。Kody將我們送上房間時熱情地介紹了酒店的設計以及頂樓的酒吧。我們對當晚的門僮以及前台包括Kody 在內的幾位職員印象很好。 進入房間後,映入眼簾的是酒店另一棟樓,視覺沖擊感很強。走到窗邊的床頭位置才能看到我們預訂的東方明珠景觀,毫無遮擋的全景非常美麗!房間內的裝修味道較大,有些刺鼻。我撥打總機請求凈化機,接電話的Monica態度冷淡,但還算禮貌,並進行了自我介紹。後來我們發現空調無法開啟,又撥打電話要求Monica安排維修。第三次撥打時,Monica接電話時顯得有些不耐煩。難道瞭解顧客需求不是她的工作嗎?為什麼會表現出不耐煩?我對此感到困惑。 晚上11點多,我在大門右側等朋友接我時,看到幾位穿着酒店制服的男職員聚在一起聊天抽煙。酒店難道沒有為員工指定不讓客人看到的吸煙區域嗎?他們的着裝代表了酒店的形象,這種行為實在令人失望。 我們當晚參觀酒店頂樓的酒吧,同時看到東方明珠與外灘的景觀非常震撼,照片附在此處。雞尾酒的價格為108,這樣美麗的景觀,價格實在良心。 從酒吧回到房間時,空氣質量似乎有所改善。然而,經過一夜的睡眠後,我醒來時感到頭痛、口渴,並且眼睛刺痛。原本訂了兩個晚上,通過攜程與酒店協商後,同意我們提前一天退房。處理好溝通的事情我便趕緊到樓下公共區域透氣,並享用了酒店贈送的早餐。早餐為半自助形式,餐點味道不錯,餐廳的工作人員服務也很積極熱情。 早餐後回到房間時,有職員走錯門説要幫我們關窗户,這時我們才發現原來封閉的窗户是可以打開的。 退房時,我看到客梯裏有一枱布草車拉着一車子的枕頭,我都驚呆了……我從未經歷過要和布草車擠一台電梯的情況。我難以置信地問:“這是枕頭嗎?”對方理所當然地回答:“是的。”期間,在較低樓層還有另一枱布草車想進來,但看到電梯滿了衹好作罷。 退房時,我看到警察在與酒店職員對話,幾個人站在辦理退房的櫃枱正前方,擋住了我的去路。我問了一句:“你們酒店出什麼事了嗎?”前台的Vincent一臉驚愕,回答我:“沒發生什麼事呀。”後來一位來自澳門的女職員向我解釋,附近有重要會議,所以警察前來查詢情況。我建議他們可以引導警察到更合適的位置進行溝通,而不是堵在前台的位置。然而,他們仍然沒有移動。Vincent隨後問我的姓名。我旁邊緊緊站着那幾個人,出於保護私隱的考慮,我反問Vincent,為什麼拿着我的房卡套還要問我的姓名,畢竟我已經告知他我的房號了呀。他又是一臉驚愕……隨後Yiko介入處理,友好地向我表示電腦系統故障,所以需要詢問我的名字進行人手對單。期間,同在前台的女生示意讓Vincent站到一旁,真心感謝這位貼心的小姐姐😅 Yiko詢問我的入住體驗,我如實告知。他表示會跟進和改善布草車的問題,稱這是非常不應該的事情,並主動添加了我的微信,表示希望下次能給我提供最好的服務。然而,添加後我並沒有收到任何訊息。 在等出租車期間,之前提到的來自澳門的女職員一直陪着我們,聽到我們來自香港,親切地用粵語與我們交談。這位員工的耐心和周到,大大增加了我們對酒店的好感度。
