Kerana ini kali pertama saya menginap di hotel Huazhuhui, saya mempunyai banyak soalan yang tidak jelas. Dia sangat sabar menjawab soalan dan membantu saya. Kemudahan hotel ini juga sangat lengkap, terdapat bilik dobi layan diri, sarapan pagi yang sangat baik, dan kakitangan perkhidmatan yang sangat sopan dan menyapa saya, seperti di luar negara. Lokasinya juga bagus. Ia hanya sepuluh minit berjalan kaki dari Taman Yuyuan dan berhampiran dengan Metro Laluan 10 dan Laluan 8. Ia adalah pengalaman menginap yang sangat memuaskan, dan ia menerima penarafan penuh lima bintang!

KKWSGI must say that the staff in this hotel demonstrate impeccable good service - from the desk counter staff (in particular the lady managers and the male staff by the surname of 吴) to the cleaning ladies of our room. The hotel is in a very strategic location near to Nanjing Pedestrian Street and also near to the metro stations which has Lines 2 and 10 crossing. Getting to the Bund is walking distance and families would like to stay here as the room is spacious. Definitely my hotel to come back again on my next visit!

SShanghai based coupleAs a couple who has lived in Shanghai together for almost 10 years, with one of us also Shanghainese, we have been to a lot of the best places in Shanghai, and some of the more recommended places in about 20 cities in the broader nearby area. Nothing in the city or within several hours of high-speed rail compares to a stay at Ritz-Carlton Pudong. In Asia and indeed the planet, this impeccable hotel experience stands as an iconic example of old-world elegance and service. In addition, it also offers a unique view of both some of the most modern and tallest buildings and the city’s famed Bund riverside, home to a variety of art deco architectural masterpieces. We had the incredible good fortune to start our honeymoon at the Ritz in Pudong, and this last stay was our last honeymoon treat. As always, it was a spectacular experience that we cannot recommend enough. The most extraordinary part of the stay really is the staff, they are all world class people who go above and beyond to make the Ritz-Carlton Pudong such an exceptional institution in one of the world’s leading cities. Sincere thanks to the whole team for making this happen, including Cherryl, who made reservation delightfully effortless, Chris who helped us to our room, and Joey and Ruby who helped in the evening. Special and heartfelt thanks to the whole team who make the Club Lounge experience world beating: Eddie and Junita, who both lead by example, have a deep passion for the details that create excellence, as well as being just the nicest people. They are both incredibly inspiring leaders and professionals. Claire is generally excellent there but also was phenomenally helpful to get a bag back when it was left behind, we really apricated that. Jeramy and Vivian also are amazing, as are Club Lounge’s chef’s Joe and Austin. Sherry is a real star, attentive, sharp and so helpful. Last but not least, Helen, who was the first person to greet us after we got married, and fittingly the last person to help us create personalised room key cards with our wedding photo on it, and most recently a special photo of family from our honeymoon. Those keycards are really cool keepsakes, but making them is not as simple as you might think: the image is etched into the key, not printed, so the original photo needs to be translated by AI into an image that the etching system is capable of delivering, which is really impressive. When I showed my mom who lives very far away, even she was impressed with Helen’s work. Ordinarily we prioritise new experiences over more of the same, regardless of how comfortable and nice it is. But regardless of how hard we try, we have not been able to figure out a better way to celebrate our biggest moments than a stay at the Ritz in Pudong.

Despite it being 12am, Jude was incredibly helpful and proactive in assisting me with a parcel that was mistakenly sent to the wrong address. His willingness to help at such a late hour, coupled with his calm and professional attitude, truly reflects the high standards of service associated with Waldorf Astoria. BBenDoverrrOverall a great stay at Novotel Shanghai Pudong Chuansha. The room was clean and spacious, and the robot delivery service was a nice touch. Service was generally very good. The hotel is also conveniently located near Shanghai Disneyland, which is a plus. Breakfast was quite basic with limited choices, and the lifts can be slow at times. Suitable for couples or staying with a spouse and children, but lacks privacy when sharing with parents or siblings. The toilet and shower area is very small with no space to hang clothes inside. The bed faces the mirror outside the bathroom, affecting privacy. Despite these minor issues, it was a comfortable stay and good value overall.

They thoughtfully decorated our room and surprised us with cakes and fruits as a kind gesture. We truly appreciated the effort — it made our celebration even more memorable. Our room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered breathtaking views of the city skyline. We especially loved the in-room mini pool — the highlight of our stay was simply relaxing and enjoying a bath while taking in the view. Tales Rooftop Bar was another standout experience. It’s the perfect place to appreciate the stunning city and river views while enjoying drinks. They offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary snacks as well. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. Aside from the buffet selection, guests can also order freshly prepared dishes like noodles and eggs, which are served hot — a wonderful touch. The staff were incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. They made us feel valued and were always ready to assist with a warm smile. The overall ambiance of the hotel is peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect retreat despite being in a vibrant city like Shanghai. We highly recommend Banyan Tree Shanghai and look forward to returning in the future.
