My favorite hotel in Trang. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Speaks very good English. Lobby and Rooms were perfectly clean. Beautiful lobby to relax and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Bed was very comfortable. Shower Water was VERY clean. Best of the 8 hotels I stayed at in Trang. Perfect for wash hair and shower. Excellent location... close to the best coffee shops and restaurants. Only 5-minute drive to Robinsons mall. We will always stay here during our monthly trips to Trang.

Fantastic hotel! It's near to the city centre, but not noisy. When we arrived the little old lady was very keen to show us her new restaurant kitchen (of which she is very proud), so I obliged & went to have a quick look. The bedrooms are clean & spacious. I wasn't sure whether to book at Usabuy as there are some negative comments on the reviews, but there are NO bad tempered dogs in the street and the place is very clean. The bathroom looks as if it has been tiled recently. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.

Booked this place from trip.com Chompu nakarin apartment We had booked a normal standard room. I would say it’s a ok ok place if you are looking just for a 1 day stay then It’s fine I wouldn’t recommend going his place for more days as the bed was good but the bedsheets was clean too still had big stains on it Also the washroom of this room when u turn on the lights it make a loud noise non stop till u don’t turn it off it’s very annoying and we could hear a lot of noise from the next doors most of the time as the walls are thin and you don’t feel much privacy The Lady at the reception is very helpful and polite she also let us check out 1 hour late for free as he had our bus after few hours of the check out that’s a good thing, they have a lot of parking area for bikes and cars for the guest and a big lobby near the reception to sit n chill Overall I would give 3.5/5

Was there for a night. Very basic hotel. The breakfast have to book in advance. We took the dim sum. Came with a small bottle of orange juice. It food was cold. No hair dryer provided. Overall the morning shift staff was very good and friendly. Speak good English too. They have car park available.

She is a great ambassador for the hotel. It was low season, so understand that the breakfast spread was reduced, but the quality of the food and service was certainly not compromised. Location was very good... 5 min walk to the nearest mall with wide selection of food. Tallest building in the area... So great view to wake up to. Highly recommended!

Re booked this places as it was a very comfortable stay We loved the stay The Reception staff are very polite and helpful And there are many good night market and malls to go around other then the adventure trips in Trang city

Centrally located budget hotel. Train station just across the road. Travel agency for cheap minibus/ferry service to Koh Mook also across the street. Hotel is clean. Basic equipment. Front desk is most of time not staffed, you need to call a local number, then the employee comes to front desk.

ที่พักสะอาด พนักงานต้อนรับน่ารักมาก ดูแลดี โดยเฉพาะเจ้าของ ไปส่งที่ห้องด้วยตัวเองเลย ห้องพักกว้างขวางมาก มีของใช้ครบ ที่สำคัญมีไดร์เป่าผมด้วย ถือว่าดีสุดๆ แอร์เย็นฉ่ำ น้ำไหลแรงสะใจมากๆ เตียงก็นุ่ม หลับสบายดี โดยรวมให้ผ่านและแนะนำให้มาพักที่นี่ (ที่จอดรถหายห่วงเลย เยอะจนเลือกจอดไม่ถูก)

โรงแรมค่อนข้างเงียบและผู้เข้าพักไม่มากเนื่องจากโรงแรมใหญ่มากจึงทำให้มีห้องว่างเยอะโดยรวมแล้วสะดวกสบายดี 

Very nice and cosy hotel. Nicely decorated with lots of wood and plants. You are in Trang town but feel like you are in the middle of nature, great. Very good room and large room, great bed and friendly staff. Spa, pool and restaurant.

Nice location. Night market is within walking distance and close to town center. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The welcome drink and cold towel is great especially after long drive! Very new hotel. My kids enjoy the bunker bed. The only drawback is no lift so a bit hassle for the old folks if staying on 3rd floor.

The Resort is beautiful placed at the Beach, we had a front row villa. Nice room, good size and an outdoor bathroom, a r eally good Beach vibe. The Facilities are fine, Sun beds at the Beach and a good pool. The restaurant prices are more expensive than the other restaurants and they don’t deliver the same quality. The reason for My 3 star review is the lazy and lack of service from the staff. You get the feeling of people that makes an effort to do a minium of effort to get through the day. Cleaning is at a minimum, breakfast buffet is dirty and they don’t full up unless you tell them. Sumpede are not serviced and we didn’t get new small Towers through our 5 day stay. It’s a 4 star hotel and you should expect more than they deliver. In generel it’s a good choice, but a better management could change a lot with a frw changes.

It’s built on what appears to be a giant sandbar coming out of the east coast of the island and is beautifully laid out with the restaurant at the tip to make breakfast and dinner a visual experience. The rooms are great and like most others suggest I would pay up for the beachfront so you can get the best of nature and especially sitting outside for the slow sun rise if you’re an early bird like me. The hotel is located perfectly - a 2 minute walk from the village. Thereafter everything becomes a bit difficult and it’s like the hotel is battling to take away from you what it has given with the surroundings. The shower is barely more than a trickle and is annoying because you need 3 or 4 per day with the heat and sand. The breakfast is awful - too spicy, covered in flies, overcooked or soggy and old. Note though that the evening restaurant is excellent. They charge to use their bikes and kayaks. Don’t do that Silvalai, it’s cheap. There’s not enough water in the room so you are compelled to buy the premium brands. They have 3 shops but I’ve never seen any of them open. The pools are lined with plastic not tiles. There’s quite a lot of rubbish lying around on the pier-side walk to the village. Koh Mook is a great place to spend 3 or 4 days and if you do come Silvalai is the best option, and I enjoyed it, but they are several tweaks away from being a top resort in my opinion.

Very outdated resort and needs a complete upgrade. The location makes up for all their problems as it is right on a long stretch of beach and the bungalow we booked was very spacious with views over the ocean. Air-conditioner worked but sounded like a tractor, the shower head is ancient and hardly works, the wheels fell off the bed when we moved it slightly. The sewerage outlet pipe runs straight into the property which is very unhygienic.too many issues to mention. Breakfast was not worth eating either so before you book if it's only for price then that may be fine but if you are looking for a clean updated place this is not for you. On the plus side the ”customer relations” person and other staff are very kind and helpful.

This is a tough one to review. On the one hand, you have the prime location on one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand if not in the world. On the other hand, the resort itself is very average for the price. To quote the resort’s website, ”The Reef Resort in Koh Kradan Thailand is a corner of paradise and with 18 luxury beachfront and sea view rooms will allow you to enjoy the crystal emerald Andaman Sea and the lush tropical gardens.” I fully agree on the beauty of the paradise island, but the above seems a bit of an overstatement in terms of the actual accommodation. The rooms are clean but very simple. Basically just a bed (decent one), a fridge, AC and an outdoor bathroom. The decor is very minimalistic but that’s what we expected. The rooms do not really have much a view to speak of. They are tightly placed in a U-shaped building, giving you a distant feeling of staying in a tropical motel. To have any privacy, you need to keep the curtains closed all the time. The sea view is limited and indirect, blocked by the trees and the bar hut. What you mainly look at is a sunburnt yellow/brown lawn (at the least during the hot season) and the pool. The difference to some of the neighboring resorts with their well kept gardens is striking. It seems that the Reef has decided not to upkeep the garden, maybe to save resources. During our stay we did not see a gardener around. If this is their choice, I would rather suggest them to replace the lawn with sand as a continuation of the beach. I would also pay more attention to the overall appearance of the property. Eg. the building where they have table tennis and a small kiosk was really messy and unorganized. The breakfast was simple but adequate with white toast, sausage, bacon, pancakes, a couple of warm options plus some fruit (pineapple and watermelon). Eggs were prepared by order. I would suggest them to improve the way the breakfast is presented - it was not very very attractive with many food items served on foil. What was really annoying is that there were lots of flies all around during the breakfast hours. I know this is something normal in a tropical environment but at least they could try to manage the situation, eg by very regularly raking the sand on which the tables are placed. I never saw them raking the sand although this could help to mitigate the root problem by removing the eggs etc. We had most of our meals at their restaurant. The Thai food was decent but not spectacular. The prices were reasonable. Some of the waiters could practice showing a happier face with their customers. The beach is spectacular with a coral reef just in front. The resort has canoes, SUP boards and snorkeling equipment for their guests free of charge. The swing in the beach is also great. I also recommend waking up at 6am to see the sunrise, it’s really beautiful. It can get a bit busy later in the morning and around noon when day trippers arrive (this mainly affects the neighboring Seven Sea

We had a wonderful time in this resort. The staff very friendly and kind . Daily massages which were first class and I still miss them. The most beautiful view from our room. We hope to return next year. The food was delicious and you can walk down the beach if you want some variety. Highly recommend

Понравился отель. Чисто, вкусные и достаточные завтраки, Прекрасная девушка на ресепшене. Очень мощный, но управляемый кондиционер. Несколько полотенец (3) и плюс пляжное . Уборка, и вода каждый день. Магазин с АТМ! рядом. Море тоже в двух шагах. 4офе,ай в любое время, плоттер всегда горячий в холле. Есть мощный холодильник.

We zouden hier 5 nachten blijven, maar de eerste nacht was een van onze bungalows niet beschikbaar, dus even een nachtje elders op het resort. Ook was een kamer van mindere kwaliteit dan we geboekt hadden, maar hiervoor kregen we keurig geld terug. De huisjes waren prima, gelegen in een grote tuin die goed onderhouden werd. In de tuin kon je ook gemasseerd worden, was lekker en heel goed! Er werd geen ontbijt maar wel koffie geserveerd, dus we hadden een voorraad koekjes aangeschaft. Voor de lunch en het avondeten moet je een kwartiertje lopen door het bos en je kwam dan uit bij Fisherman's Kitchen, een uitstekend en goedkoop restaurant. In de avond gingen we nog even naar een soort bar voor niet-moslims. Je kon ook lekker koud bier meenemen naar de bungalows. Het resort ligt afgelegen en is alleen geschikt als je er een brommertje huurt bij het resort om het eiland over te gaan, dan heb je alle vrijheid. Je kunt ook een private tour boeken om het hele eiland te bezoeken of een boot reserveren voor een dugong-tour. Een wandeling door het achterland is ook een aanrader. Eigenlijk heb je hier aan 3 à 4 nachten genoeg. Het personeel is heel hulpvaardig. Door een storm was het onmogelijk om naar een volgend eiland te varen, maar er werd een fantastisch alternatief aangeboden over het vasteland: 5 verschillende vervoermiddelen sloten op de minuut aan op het volgende traject. Chapeau!

Only a short walk from Mookies to Farang Beach, a truly tropical paradise....The bungalows at Mookies were excellent, clean and very comfortable beds. The fridge is a very nice touch. The food was quick and fast and very tasty. Of course you have other restaurants nearby if you can possibly tire of Wan and her crews offering. Nick her husband was always ready to give some advice and have a good story to share. All in all, good prices for both bungalows and food and drink.

We had an amazing stay at Mook Montra in Ko Muk. Kritt messaged us on WhatsApp the day we were arriving to see if we needed any help with anything and they helped us organising a longtail from the jetty on the mainland to the island for 600THB. When we arrived on the island we were greeted by the super friendly staff member (I think his name was Go) who drove us to the hotel. He explained where everything was whilst driving us around which was super helpful and he was an absolute champion during our whole stay, always willing to help us if we had any questions. The room itself, we booked the Seaview Cottage, was really nice. Quite spacious, clean and a very comfy bed with aircon. There was a little balcony with a nice bench and a table at the front which was perfect to have your breakfast in the morning or a drink in the afternoon. The property is beautiful with a lot of greenery and all the different cottages. We'd highly recommend Mook Mantra if you're budget is a bit more limited as you'd still get the luxurious vibe for this price. One thing that would've been nice to have in the room is a water kettle to make some tea or coffee in the morning.
