Spent my birthday here with my love, and it surpassed all our expectations. received a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was larger and even had a bathtub. Hard Rock Hotel is undergoing major construction, so it can be quite noisy between 10 am till 6 pm. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We loved the pool and beach area. The hotel is a bit far from the city center,it's about a 30-minute drive to Georgetown.

This time I booked the Garden Wing, and the hotel facilities are indeed quite old. There was no welcome drink during check-in, and they even offered me a discounted rate to switch to a room with a less desirable view. If I were willing to accept that, why would I have booked this room in the first place? The greenery is impressive, with ancient trees everywhere, which is quite spectacular. The beach is also nice. However, the hotel's soundproofing is really poor; you can hear every little sound from the surrounding rooms crystal clear. I feel like this might be a common issue with Shangri-La hotels in Malaysia. The hotel breakfast is decent, with a good variety, but there isn't much change day-to-day, so it gets repetitive after a couple of days.

The beach behind the hotel is a bit small, but it's shared with the neighboring hotels, so you can walk along it, and the scenery is still beautiful. However, the hotel's internal landscaping is fantastic. It's definitely worth another visit.

My recent stay at Bayview Beach Resort was unfortunately cut short due to a sudden family emergency, as I received news that my uncle had passed away during my trip. What was supposed to be a short relaxing getaway quickly turned into an emotional and stressful situation for me and my family. Despite the circumstances, I truly want to express my heartfelt appreciation to the reception team and back office staff at the resort. From the moment I informed them about the situation, they handled everything with great empathy, professionalism, and understanding. The process of cancelling and modifying my second night stay was made smooth and hassle-free, which really helped ease my burden during such a difficult time. Sometimes, it is not only the facilities or location that make a hotel memorable, but the kindness and humanity shown by the people working there. The staff genuinely showed care and patience while assisting me, and I am sincerely grateful for their support. Their understanding allowed me to focus on returning home and being with my family without additional stress. Even though my trip ended unexpectedly, I still managed to experience the comfort and hospitality that Bayview Beach Resort is known for. The environment was peaceful, the stay was comfortable, and the service standards were commendable throughout my short visit. Thank you once again to the reception and back office team for your compassion and assistance during a difficult moment in my life. Your kindness will always be remembered, and I truly appreciate the excellent customer service provided.

I was very satisfied with the service. I got bitten by leeches while visiting the Rafflesia in Ipoh, and the front desk promptly provided band-aids when I called. I saw some reviews on other platforms saying the breakfast wasn't good, but I personally found it quite nice. They had freshly squeezed juices and a variety of international cuisines, making it perfect for a vacation.

The room has two bedrooms and one living room. The sofa in the living room can be used as a bed. It can accommodate up to 6 people. The landlord will inform you of the accommodation details by email, and you can call the housekeeper on the same day. She will arrange check-in and parking at the door, and take you to the room to introduce the details. A deposit of 100RM is required for each key and access card. You need to swipe the card to enter the building and enter and exit the beach. The security is very good. The room has complete tableware, and you can cook simple meals. There is also an oven. There is a washing machine, but no dryer. Summer clothes will dry in a short time. There are many hangers, and you should bring your own laundry detergent. There are no extra towels for the swimming pool and beach downstairs. The sand on the beach at the door is slightly rough. It will be finer and less crowded after passing the long embankment to the west. There are basically no shells to pick up on the beach. The night market along the street is very lively, and it is like an empty city during the day.

We received excellent service from Gary from the moment we made our booking. He consistently followed up on our arrival time and even accommodated our request for an early check-in. The unit we stayed in was spacious and well-equipped, with powerful air conditioning, ceiling fans, excellent shower water pressure, and even a sheet provided for the sofa bed. This beachfront gem offers breathtaking sea views right from your window. Just a few minutes' walk away is a charming little beach that's an absolute must-see. Falling asleep to the sound of waves all night long was incredibly therapeutic – 10/10 for healing! I highly recommend it 🌊. The cleanliness was impeccable, the room was spacious, the bedding was soft, and the facilities were complete. The host was warm and thoughtful, providing us with plenty of local tips. The overall ambiance of the place was fantastic, perfect for stunning photos. It's quiet and peaceful, making it the ideal choice for a relaxing vacation. You can book with confidence – you won't be disappointed! A taxi to Cenang Beach only costs a few dollars, but walking might be challenging due to the winding mountain roads and fast-moving traffic. If you're taking a taxi to Cenang, I suggest getting dropped off at the FamilyMart supermarket where you can stock up on essentials. Just 20 meters straight ahead from there is another beach. About 500 meters from the property, you'll find beachfront restaurants with lively evening performances and delicious food – not to be missed!

I used it while traveling alone. The type of outlet didn't suit me so the charger I brought with me wouldn't work, but they quickly provided a replacement. I rented one room out of several buildings (houses), and the facilities were all clean. The other guests were quiet so I was able to use it without any problems, and it was very satisfying as it was reasonable compared to the price.

For its price, it's quite decent. Pros: location, cleanliness, no pests, friendly and patient staff, no deposit required. Cons: no table (for eating), no chairs, no wardrobe or a wider clothes rack, no kettle, cups, or spoons. The room only had beds, a stand-up clothes rack, and an unnecessary TV. That's it! Upon request, they provided hangers, cups, toilet paper, and a small table. We grabbed chairs ourselves from the hallway. There's also a water cooler with warm water there. The kettle is only on the 1st floor, one for the entire hotel. Wi-Fi in the rooms is poor; the closer you are to the elevator, the better it works. Room 102 had decent Wi-Fi. The hotel is quiet. The beds are comfortable. There's a bus stop nearby and many cafes. The sea is a leisurely 5-minute walk away. The value for money is fine, but I would have liked tables, cups, and spoons to be included.

For our trip to Escape Theme Park, this accommodation was perfect! (Location wise) The host thoughtfully switched on the air conditioner and lights before our arrival, making us feel comfortable and welcomed. The spacious layout more than enough for our group of 3 families (10 people in total). The photos shown accurately reflect the unit. Cleanliness was spot-on, and the most impressive part was the bed comfort, it was of excellent quality. All the pillows smelled fresh, and everything was well-prepared. The only minor was the RM500 deposit, which is only returned 3 to 5 days after checkout, and I had to send a reminder to the host on the 6th day. I'm used to receiving the deposit back the day after checking out. However, this did not affect our stay at all, overall, it was a great experience with the unit! Most importantly, thanks to the Trip platform for the worthwhile promo price!
