Hotel Dengan Pools di Penang, Malaysia

It was a last minute booking and we also had to extend our stay. The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. She deserves 5 stars. Absolutely LOVE the location. (but beware, the Grab's GPS hasn't been entirely up-to-date so the drivers have struggled to find the place)

My flight was later in the evening but late check out timing will be 12 pm the latest. In this case I will be out without room for quite a number of hours. To my surprise, the hotel does cater a room for guests to rest and sit in after check out. This room is provide for guests who has check out but flight is much later, to have a place to rest and relax before proceeding to the airport. This is a very thoughtful action.  Thanks.

Excellent Location, not too far from Tanjung Bungah & Batu Feringgi or from Pulau Tikus & Georgetown. Love that both bedrooms and master bath faces the ocean. Bathing with the sound of the ocean (wow). Place was well maintained and clean. Sea facing view from the living room sofa is absolutely great. A tip for those who love to have breakfast by the sea, Oceano Symphony has the vibe, great food and view to satisfy all. Just walk abt 700m from the beach (tanjong point has a back door access to the beach). Or go in the evening for dinner, its low tide then. For breakfast hour, make sure you start walking before 8am for breakfast or the tide will cut you off the beach access after 9am. Price is a bit on the higher side but its a holiday... And you are paying for the view and good food. Otherwise, drive over to Biru-biru cafe located in Lost Paradise resort, Tanjong Bungah area.

Environment: The facilities are very new, and the bedding is good too. Service: The front desk service is excellent, with staff on duty at night, which is convenient for check-in and check-out. Location: Convenient, with many dining options nearby. Transportation: It's located in George Town, a bit far from the Old Town on foot (but fine if you like walking). You can take the bus, but you have to wait 😓. Ride-sharing apps like Grab are convenient. Security: There's security, and the elevator requires a key card, so it's quite safe. Hygiene: For an apartment hotel, it's exceptionally good. Free daily cleaning is offered, but you need to inform the front desk. Swimming Pool: Very good, many families with children were playing there.

Studio room type with 2 queen beds. Self-service hotel. Collect your own key from the locker, PIN information, etc. via WhatsApp. The place is still new. Renovations are still underway in the units on the left and right of the room. The location is close to Island Hospital (by walking 15 minutes). Cold AC. Good bed. Smooth shower water.

Great service from the reception, especially Mr. Sri Restaurants, Chulia streets where most pubs are located are all within walking distance. A bit tricky to find the hotel carpark as the entrance is under a shop house pillar with BIG word Honda at the side wall Recommend to walk to Red garden food court, nice food and vibes with performance

The hotel looks a little old, but everything is really well maintained and clean. The facilities are great, especially the gym. It’s fully equipped with dumbbells, barbells and all kinds of machines for different workouts. There’s also a sauna, steam room and hot and cold jacuzzis, all in good working condition. The location is perfect, right along Gurney Drive. Get a sea view room if you can because the view is amazing whether it’s sunrise or sunset. It’s also super convenient with Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon just a short walk away, and plenty of food options nearby. Taking a Grab to town takes only about 10 minutes. Breakfast was really good too. There’s a wide mix of local and international dishes that change daily, plus an egg and roti canai station where you can order fresh. Service was okay, though the staff weren’t as warm as I expected from a five star hotel. Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a great location with solid facilities and food.

everything is ok.. the breakfast food is delicious while eating you can see the sea.. the view is beautiful.. the location is good.. the beach is close to the hotel.. only the cleanliness is a little lacking in the room.. the bed sheet is dirty but a little.. the worst thing is the smell of the pillow is a bit less pleasant.. hope the hotel can make improvements

We were also pleasantly surprised with a spacious room and a stunning city view, which made the celebration even more special. Flamingo Hotel by the Beach is a good choice for travelers who prioritize a beachfront location and a large, family-friendly pool. While some aspects of the hotel may feel a bit old, the beautiful views, good service, and convenient amenities make it a worthwhile option for a relaxing stay in Penang.
