Conveniently located, spacious rooms, complete dining facilities, good service, but average room cleaning. We chose this hotel located within Kyoto Station for our leisure trip to Kyoto. Overall, the experience was quite good. The room was quite large, and despite facing the train station, the sound insulation was excellent; we could barely hear the sound of vehicles. The daily newspaper delivery was a nice traditional service. For breakfast, there's a buffet restaurant on the 2nd floor and a Japanese set meal on the 3rd floor. We stayed for 3 nights and tried both, each with its unique characteristics. The Japanese breakfast didn't have a huge variety of dishes, but there were three options for rice, and the ritual of cooking the rice on-site was very impressive. Room cleaning was a bit subpar. There were obvious stains on the carpet, and I'm not sure if they couldn't be cleaned or for what reason (Picture 2), but it was unpleasant to look at. A bottle cap left by the previous guest was also not cleaned up (Picture 3), which is unacceptable. When checking out, after paying the taxes, the front desk attendant handed the bill directly to us without an envelope, which felt unprofessional and unfriendly.

I love how clean the hotel is. The interior room design and the advanced toilets were all brilliant. My family and I got the triple room (with 3 beds) and it did not feel cramped at all. The air conditioning and lighting as well as alarms could all be controlled through their iPad. They have daily room cleaning and metal bottles, tea bags, mugs, kettles and a blow dryer. The hotel is also in the downtown location, very convenient to get to popular places. Lastly I love how eco friendly the hotel seems. I am a person who loves to prioritize green. This hotel seems to as well. If I ever come back to Kyoto, I will choose this again.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the popular shopping street and the iconic tower. There's a shuttle bus to and from Kyoto Station every 40 minutes, and the stop is easy to find. It's super convenient for half-day trips to Arashiyama and Uji. The breakfast is really good, with fried shrimp, corn tempura, various breads, shumai, shrimp dumplings, and fried chicken. The fruit selection is also plentiful.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's environment is beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable, and all the staff were incredibly warm and polite. The overall atmosphere was very relaxing, and the attention to detail made us feel right at home. The hot springs and the hotel's scenery, in particular, are definitely worth experiencing; it was such a blessing to be able to truly relax here during our busy trip. My family thoroughly enjoyed this stay, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely choose to stay here again if we're in the area in the future. Highly recommended!

The hotel is conveniently located directly across from JR Kyoto Station, making it super easy to find. The room size was decent, especially for the king-size bed I booked, which I really liked. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, particularly for JR lines – no need to rush at all. The absolute highlight was the breakfast! There was such a wide variety, including sushi 🍣, various alcoholic beverages, cheese, salads, and grilled meats. The restaurant faces the station, so I highly recommend opting for breakfast – it's excellent value, and the sushi was delicious. The service was great too, and the lobby offers complimentary water and even Sekkisei cosmetics, which was an amazing bonus!

We stayed at Hotel Gracery Kyoto for two nights and overall had a very comfortable stay. The hotel has two sections, and we stayed in the South building. The room was very clean, and the space was used efficiently, which is typical for Japan. The bathroom layout was a bit unusual. The toilet and shower are separate, which is convenient, but the toilet cubicle itself is extremely small. The shower is positioned in an odd space between the bath and what seems to be the shower floor, and the shower head cannot be adjusted up or down. That said, the water pressure and temperature were excellent, which made up for the layout. Bottled water was provided on the first day, which was appreciated. The TV, however, was very limited with only Japanese channels and no access to Netflix or other streaming services. The location is excellent. The hotel is right by Nishiki Market and surrounded by shops and restaurants, with multiple subway lines nearby. There are also many fantastic local restaurants in the area, which we highly recommend, especially when the market gets overwhelmingly busy. The hotel provides a wide range of amenities in the lobby, including face wash, toner, lotion, razors, combs and mouthwash. While convenient, the large amount of individually packaged items does not feel particularly environmentally friendly. We checked out the breakfast one morning but decided not to purchase it as it was 2750 yen per person, and there are plenty of better and more affordable options nearby. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and we also appreciated that the hotel offers free umbrella use on rainy days, which was a thoughtful touch. One downside was the room cleaning timing. We left early in the morning and only returned after 3pm, but the room was still being cleaned when we got back. We were asked to wait around 30 minutes, which was quite inconvenient after a long day when we wanted to rest, shower and freshen up before heading out again. Overall, a clean and well-located hotel with a few minor design quirks and service timing issues, but still a very pleasant stay.

Its not a luxurious type hotel, the room is tiny , see from my pic you can only bring one siitcase with you, yet the design is chic, the fridge is cold, the bed is comfy. I love the pillows , u got everything you need. You can access basic hot spring on 9F, same floor of reception, and u can also get a drink and have foot bath at Terrace. Dont forget to get a drink of popsicle after the bath. I took uber only so location is never a prob. Everything is fine to me until I saw hotel guest wearing crocs stepping inside hot spring area. And you see the muddy footprint all over the changing area. OMG what a terrible experience, so uncivilized. I told the floor manager but they just ignore me. PLS SAVE THE HOT SPRING SORRY WONT COME BACK AGAIN.

This hotel is super clean and even has public baths and Japanese-style hot springs. It's so relaxing to soak in them after a long day, much better than using the bathtub in my own room. There are also lots of delicious popsicles near the entrance to the baths! The massage chairs are coin-operated and very affordable. This hotel really offers a comprehensive range of amenities, I think it's fantastic! It's also only about 500 meters walk from Kyoto Station. I took these photos myself with my camera. It was a truly value-for-money experience.

This hotel is super convenient, located just a short walk from Kyoto Station's Hachijo West Exit. You exit the station, turn right, take the elevator down, cross the street, and it's right there on your front-right. It's really close to Kyoto Station, and there's an Aeon mall and all sorts of great food options nearby. Plus, you'll pass a 551 HORAI bun shop near the Hachijo West Exit – there's always a line, but it's totally worth it, genuinely delicious! **Check-in:** Although check-in is officially after 3 PM, we arrived at 2:30 PM and were able to check in early. You use an automatic check-in machine, but the front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helped me with the process. **Price:** A standard triple room for two nights, including breakfast for three, cost 1897 RMB in total, which works out to 316 RMB per person per night. We stayed from Saturday to Monday, so it might be even cheaper if you stay on weekdays. **Room:** It was a standard triple room, 20 square meters, with two 1.1-meter single beds and one 1-meter sofa bed. The room size was a little on the small side, but still manageable. It had a window, but it couldn't be opened. Since it opened in 2020, the facilities are still quite new. The faucet in the bathroom provides potable water, which is drinkable directly. Note that disposable items like toothbrushes aren't included in the room; you need to pick them up from the lobby downstairs. There's a kettle in the room, which was great for my parents to make tea. They also provide pajamas, so you can pack fewer clothes. The control panel by the window can be set to Chinese, making it more user-friendly. The soundproofing in the room is excellent; even though it's near Kyoto Station, you can't hear any outside noise, making it very quiet. **Breakfast:** Served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. If your room includes breakfast, you'll receive breakfast coupons upon check-in. If you buy it separately, it's 2200 yen per person. The variety is decent, and the taste is quite good. They even have self-serve cold udon with a good selection of condiments, tasting just like what you'd get outside. **Luggage Storage:** Since we had another itinerary early on our third day and needed to store our luggage, there's a dedicated room downstairs for free self-service luggage storage. You can secure each piece of luggage with a combination lock, making it very safe.

This is a hot spring hotel, and hotels in Kyoto are generally quite expensive. However, this hot spring hotel wasn't significantly pricier than others, so it felt like a pretty good deal. All the hot spring rooms are traditional tatami style. Downstairs, there are several hot spring baths to choose from. They also offer ramen and all-you-can-drink after 10 PM, as well as a buffet breakfast the next morning. After a bath, there are automatic massage chairs in the hallway. I used them several times. It felt like I got a full massage after my bath, saving me the cost of a separate massage. I felt completely rejuvenated!

Liked: The hotel has a very unique and fun manga-themed design. The location is incredibly convenient—there is a 7-Eleven right downstairs, making it super easy to grab snacks, drinks, or breakfast anytime. It takes about an 8-minute walk to the nearest subway station, which makes getting around Kyoto very straightforward. The self check-in and check-out system was fast, and the free coffee in the lobby was a nice bonus. Disliked: The room is quite compact (which is expected in Japan), but the cleanliness could definitely be improved. There was quite a bit of dust on the shelves and in the corners of the room. I hope the housekeeping team can pay more attention to these details.

Miyako City Kintetsu Hotel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a lovely stay at Miyako City Kintetsu Hotel! The location is extremely convenient, making it easy to get around. There’s even a Uniqlo right in front of the hotel, which is great for some shopping. The staff are super friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The room is surprisingly spacious, including the toilet, which is a huge plus compared to many other hotels in Japan. Everything was super clean and well maintained. Overall, a very comfortable stay with excellent service and a fantastic location. Would definitely come back again on my next visit!

I am from Yangzhou, Jiangsu. Although Yangzhou is a garden city, there are many such style escape hotels in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, Hongxi Noya of Hoshino Group is definitely worth living. The overall health is very good, the facilities are well maintained and there is no musty smell. That is, all the windows can be wiped clean. This time I checked in in the evening. When I took a taxi, I saw the sunset of Lushan, which was a value-added item. The reception staff was very polite and welcoming. At night, the girl was invited to drive us to the hotel entrance. This road was too standard, almost standing on the mountain, and there was a feeling of adventure. When I checked out, I felt the ship of Hoshino. By the way, I recommend the dyeing workshop and Zhai Pavilion are diagonally opposite. If you like the scenery, it is worth seeing.
