this hotel is good overall, but when we arrived, they told us that we didn't have a booking with them and they couldn't locate our booking and details. the room was also said to be taken, and they are waiting for a cancellation in order to get our room. There is a lot of confusion among staff. some visitors were told to leave their rooms once they have entered. we waiting 1 hr 30 min to get our room. so check in was at 4.30pm. parking was also very inconvenient, as we had to park at the basement, which was impossible to even get one if you came into the hotel late and a T&G card was also needed to get validated before leaving the hotel if we wanted a free spot. Room was very spacious and clean. the tea and coffee was hard like its never been changed.

warm service from the staffs and great facilities! we booked the stay for the sea view and easy access to penang's beach area, and it does not disappoint! our room was half overlooking the sea and we can view the sunrise from our room. the dining area and the pool also serve great view of the sea💙 there's a stairs from the tapas area (first floor) that allows us to directly go to the beach. however, when the tide is high, the sandy area of the beach is completely covered. room is clean, although there're few tiiinyy spots on the pillow cover. the aircon is centered and cannot go lower than 18 degree. it might feel abit hot and humid when you first enter the room. leave the aircon on for a while and you're good🙌

To be honest, this hotel has both prominent pros and cons. The private beach is incredibly convenient; it was lovely to stroll along it in the morning, watch the sunrise, and take some photos. The pool was also clean, perfect for kids to splash around in. However, don't expect much from the sea in Penang – it's a muddy yellow, which wasn't very appealing. My main complaint, though, is about the 'mountain view' room, which is a misnomer. As soon as you open the window, you're directly facing a busy main road with a traffic light right below. The daytime traffic was bearable, but late at night, the motorcycles were a nightmare. Every time the light turned green, they'd rev their engines and zoom off with a loud 'vroom,' one after another, like a relay race. I tossed and turned until the early hours of the morning before finally drifting off, and I was a wreck the next day. A word of caution: if you book here, make sure to request a room not facing the road, or you'll be paying for a lot of misery.

We stayed at Lost Paradise Resort. The staff were very kind, and both the food at the café and the scenery were absolutely amazing. Although the weather forecast predicted rain throughout our stay, we surprisingly had good weather during the daytime the entire time. Additionally, there are local hawker spots within a 10-minute drive, so we were able to fully enjoy Penang’s local cuisine without having to go all the way to George Town. We felt very lucky and had a wonderful time. We would definitely love to come back!

A hidden hotel in a deep alley ・Good A small beach is just 100m away. The rooms are on the second floor and are facing the sea and residential, but let's choose the sea side. It's great to see the ocean at this price point. The room made the bed every day, and the shower has hot water. It seems to be well maintained. And no adhan is heard. ・Concerns The size of the room is on par with Japanese business hotels, that is, it is small. In addition, since it is a hotel for overnight stays without meals, there are concerns about security, so it is better to avoid it for single women and families. It's a Chinese environment, so you can hear firecrackers going off and people making noise in the corridor or outside at night. It may be better to avoid celebrations such as the Chinese New Year. ・Remark This hotel is located in a mausoleum Therefore, you can appreciate the uniqueness of the Chinese atmosphere. The lobby is on the 1st floor, but sometimes it's closed because the janitor is out to make the bed. A nice, fairly new hotel. The Family Room (1 king, 1 single) was quite large and nice. Beds were really comfortable with high, firm pillows.Single bed was in a corner by itself. Had a sofa, table and chair as well, with a long open cupboard. Had a good view of the sea and a bit of the pool. Balcony was nice, but didn't have anything eg chair + table. Bathroom was spacious with the usual amenities. My main issue is that nearly all the lights are controlled by one switch, so quite inconvenient when everybody sleeps at a different time. Breakfast buffet was ok only, but lovely seaview. Location is about 25 minutes' drive from Georgetown.

Cooking utensils, plates, bowls and cutleries are provided.The house also has other facilities like a fridge, washing machine, microwave oven, electric oven etc.Also ideal for small family parties, it is a residential area so the noise level will have to be kept to the lowest possible.

Overall we are satisfied with this hotel but there are one thing I want to highlight. After check out the lady whom I liased with when I checked in told me that there are a burn mark on the bedsheet & also mattress protector and she will forfeit my deposit of RM50. I then asked my niece who slept on that bed & she said the burn mark was initially there but she doesn’t know that she must inform us about it. I’ve tried to explained to her many times that my 11 years old niece was sleeping on that bed & none of us in that room smoke or using any electrical appliances such as hair iron or curling iron or which non of us have with us so how can we the burn mark appeared there. She kept insisting that it was a fresh burn mark and she won’t let her hotel guests sleep with a burn mark bedsheet. This is totally a scam to us as I travel with my mum, my husband, niece (11 years old) & nephew (10 years old) could caused the damage as claimed. I do not have choices but just accept it as the lady keep saying that my deposit is not even enough to cover. Am not sure why they used such a tactic towards a family with kids and I have never had this problem in my entire booking with Trip.com. It was our mistake that we didn’t check the hotel room condition as we checked in very late - 8:26pm and all of us are really tired from travelling long journey. I’d say it was caused by their own staff which are 2 Bangladeshi guys who handle housekeeping but they blamed it on my family. Of course they won’t admit it as the lady keep saying they won’t provide burn bedsheet. This is totally not fair to me and one of the staff keep insisting me to pay the deposit when I arrived.

I just stayed for one night. Which was enough for me. Be aware this is not part of the official Rainbow Resort Hotel. Upon seeing my confirmation, the receptionist told me my room was an Airbnb. The building is a hotel as well private rooms that are rented out. The room itself was very spacious, 70 sqm with one bedroom and a living space. It had obviously been repainted recently (it smelt a fresh paint) so the walls were clean. Air conditioning and basic amenities were provided. The building itself, has seen a lot of wear and tear. If you’re on a budget and want a spacious room it will meet your needs. For the price I think it’s quite reasonable if you’re there for a short stay. The hotel is next to a beach, and a swimming pool downstairs. There a few restaurants across the road.

It was a wonderful stay in Treebridge… it’s a cheap and best for a decent stay. The hotel has, Awesome outdoor pool , which is very close to sea. We swim in sea from morning to afternoon and then we swim in the pool. The hotel room consist of quality bed, decent furniture, aircon, fridge , TV , wardrobe, iron box, hair dryer, dining table and a sofa. The two sea view Balcony is the top notch. Apart from this … Christopper Richard is a wonderful coordinator who helps us a lot in early checking… in addition to the Hotel coordinator he is a wonderful human being who loves the guest. He gave a bunch of discount vouchers for the attractions and restaurants. I made my mind that from here on if I Come to Penang he the man …. Regards, Gokul.
