🚇 How to Go to Gardens by the Bay

The easiest way to get to Gardens by the Bay is by taking the MRT to Bayfront Station (CE1/DT16) on the Circle Line or Downtown Line. From Exit B, simply follow the signs and walk across Dragonfly Bridge or Meadow Bridge, you'll arrive at the gardens in just a few minutes. 🌿 I took the MRT during my visit, and it was super convenient! It's clean, easy to navigate, and one of the fastest ways to get around Singapore, especially if you're visiting attractions around Marina Bay.

By Bus 🚌

You can take Bus 400 directly to Gardens by the Bay. Alternatively, buses 97, 106, 133, or 502 will also get you close, just alight near Marina Bay Sands or Bayfront Avenue, then enjoy a short walk into the gardens.

By Taxi or Ride-Hailing 🚕

Taxis and ride-hailing apps are super convenient, especially if you're travelling with kids, elderly family members, or carrying luggage. Just search for “Gardens by the Bay” and your driver will drop you at the nearest entrance based on your destination.

By Car 🚗

If you're driving, there are several parking areas available, including Bayfront Plaza, Main Entrance, The Meadow, and Satay by the Bay carparks. This option is quite convenient, but for most tourists, I still feel the MRT is the easiest and most stress-free way to get here.

The best time to visit Gardens by the Bay really depends on your travel style. 🌿 If you prefer fewer crowds, I always suggest going on a weekday morning. It feels more peaceful and relaxed. For better lighting and nicer photos 📸, the late afternoon is ideal when the weather is a bit cooler. But honestly, the highlight is at night ✨. I recommend staying until evening to catch the Garden Rhapsody light show at Supertree Grove. The show is free and usually runs daily at 7:45 PM and 8:45 PM, although timings may change during special events or maintenance. 🌳🎶

🍽️ What to Eat at Gardens by the Bay

☕ Conservatory Cafe

Located between the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, this is a nice little stop if you just want something light. I usually come here for coffee, cakes, ice cream, or a quick snack while taking a short break.

🍜 Jurassic Nest Food Hall

If you’re near Supertree Grove, this food hall is super convenient. There’s quite a mix of food here: ramen, chicken rice, noodles, pasta, waffles, desserts, and more. It’s a good option if you want something filling without leaving the attraction.

🔥 Satay by the Bay

This is my personal favourite! 🌙 It’s an open-air food court by the waterfront, and the vibe at night is really nice. You can try local favorites like grilled satay, laksa, seafood, and other Singapore dishes while enjoying the breeze. Perfect way to end your visit at Gardens by the Bay.

One of the most exciting highlights at Gardens by the Bay right now is the Disney Garden of Wonder at Floral Fantasy. 🌿 I personally think this is a must-visit if you’re a Disney fan, because you’ll get to see characters like Frozen, Toy Story, Winnie the Pooh, and Mickey Mouse beautifully recreated as floral sculptures. It feels like stepping into a fairytale garden, and it’s super fun for photos too 📸✨
