On the 2nd floor of T1, there's a small shuttle bus stop, exactly where my picture shows, opposite a food court with a direct elevator. Actually, it's a quick walk too, just follow the Sami Sami signs. The hotel environment is very good and clean. The lobby has a big screen for watching the World Cup and a smaller screen for flight information. The mini-bar is free. The only downside is that the beds are a bit small; we had two adults and two children, and even with two twin beds pushed together, 2 meters felt cramped. For domestic flights, leaving the hotel two hours beforehand is fine.

The room itself had basic issues: no toothbrush or toothpaste provided, a slight smell in the bathroom, and noticeable noise coming through the walls, which kills comfort if you're planning to rest properly. For a transit stay, it works. The airport is about 15 km away, and there’s a small supermarket plus a roadside eatery nearby, which is convenient. But beyond that, the surroundings don’t offer much, and the hotel doesn’t have additional facilities to make up for it. If you just need a bed for one night and don’t expect service or amenities, it’s acceptable. For anything more, I wouldn’t recommend it. Final Rating: 7/10

Traveling to Taipei with my two kids, we had a layover at Kuala Lumpur Airport. Since we had an early flight the next morning, I didn't want to rush. There were only three of us, and the Capsule had a triple room at a reasonable price, so I decided to stay there. It was also a good opportunity for the kids to experience a shared bathroom and feel like the airport was our home away from home. Initially, the kids were a bit hesitant, but once they saw how clean the bathrooms and toilets were, and that toiletries were well-stocked, they were fine. There were also hairdryers, irons, and refreshments provided, which was a thoughtful touch. Although the room was small, it had everything we needed, including indoor slippers, towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, earplugs, and eye masks. Our beds were on the floor, and there were stairs to access the restrooms, so it might not be suitable for the elderly or those with mobility issues. The room was a bit stuffy, but otherwise, everything else was great. The common area had tea bags, desks, and chairs. It was a nice spot to work or chat in the evening.

It's also not far from Xiamen University Malaysia Campus, so I didn't have to worry about food. But my high rating is even more due to the fact that the host was incredibly dedicated! He's Chinese and contacted me the day before to confirm my check-in information. Upon arrival, he walked me through the check-in process via WeChat. The room was clean and tidy, small but fully equipped, and very Chinese-friendly. 😭😭 When I checked out, the host and I exchanged thanks on WeChat. 😂😂 It was really nice!

I found that the main door was not functioning properly. I only realised this on the second day of my stay, when I discovered that the door could be opened without using the access card. Fortunately, there was no loss of belongings or any security incident. The water taps were also confusing. At the sink, the blue indicator was for hot water and the red indicator was for cold water. However, in the bathroom, it was the opposite — red for cold water and blue for hot water. Since I have stayed here several times before, I would also suggest that the hotel provide a floor mat in front of the bathroom and sliding door area. As the pool is within walking distance, guests often return with wet feet. Only one towel was provided, so I had to use the same towel both as a foot mat in front of the bathroom and to wipe my feet after coming back from the pool. In addition, there seemed to be some stains on the bedsheet. Nevertheless, I still enjoy staying here because the pool is very convenient and located nearby. 🫶

I stayed here for while transferring to a different plane. The hotels around the airport are relatively expensive, so I chose this one. It's about a 10min taxi ride from the airport. It's like a hotel attached to a drive in along the highway. It's very basic, with just a shower, toilet and a single bed. Of course, there's no refrigerator, safety box, or hairdryer. However, it's clean and reasonably priced. There are several shops next to this. The bakery in particular was delicious, and the breakfast was satisfying. If you're looking for a cheap, clean place near the airport, this might be a good choice.

We couldn't find any adapters anywhere in the evening.

The Sama-Sama Hotel, a 5-star property, has been around for a long time and its facilities are a bit dated, while other airport hotels have rooms that are too small. For travelers transiting through Kuala Lumpur or needing an overnight stay, I highly recommend the ibis Styles Sepang KLIA – it's excellent! When I first saw the 4.4 rating on Trip.com, I didn't have high expectations, thinking the facilities would be very ordinary. However, my actual stay completely exceeded them, offering a surprisingly great experience! This hotel, newly opened in 2024, is exceptionally well-maintained. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the overall design is resort-style, with lush greenery everywhere. Upon entering, you're greeted by a fresh, botanical scent, completely devoid of the usual oppressive and stuffy feeling of typical airport hotels 🍃. There’s a wide selection of room types. Solo travelers can choose a standard king or twin room, with 26㎡ of spacious, uncrowded comfort. Couples or friends can upgrade to a Superior room, and for families, the Family room with one king and one single bed can accommodate up to three people. There's also a windowless Deluxe King room, perfect for those just needing a temporary stopover and planning to rest indoors during the day. Accessible rooms are also available for guests with mobility needs. Each room is equipped with a mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a separate shower and bathroom, and a safe. The only major drawback is the rather poor soundproofing. You can clearly hear guests walking and talking in the hallway, and noises from adjacent rooms. Coupled with the roar of planes taking off and landing, light sleepers can easily be woken up in the middle of the night. The location is incredibly convenient, just 1 km from KLIA airport. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to and from the airport with fixed schedules; remember to register and book at the front desk before check-in. It's a 5-minute drive to Mitsui Outlet Park, so you can stop by for some shopping during your layover. Overall, this hotel is ideal for travelers needing an overnight airport stay. It's half the price of the 5-star Sama-Sama KLIA in the same area, yet its hardware, environment, and amenities are more modern and comprehensive, making for a great transit experience 👍.

The guesthouse is very close to the airport; a taxi ride costs around 20 RMB, which I was worried about before checking in. The price was quite reasonable. Four rooms were more than enough for our group of eight. During the Spring Festival holiday, twin rooms at other hotels near the airport would cost at least 700-800 RMB, but we needed three rooms, so we saved a lot. One minor drawback is that the north-facing rooms face a small road, and the motorcycle noise was a bit loud at night. Overall, a good experience!

This is primarily a transit hotel so l wasn't expecting much from it . it was just what was needed for my 11 Hrs stay . Has decent amount of things to keep you comfortable . Room was small , deluxe double which is exactly what it sounds for 2 ppl. Bathroom was big though in comparison to the room and clean . there are many eateries and convenience stores beside it. And we got Grab in 2 mins even at 4 am early morning . Airport is just 15 mins ride .So location is fantastic but only use for short stays in my opinion .

My flight was at 7:00 AM on August 5th. I decided to stay at a hotel near the airport on the evening of August 4th. I saw this hotel, and it seemed reasonably priced and not too far from the airport (it was listed as 7.5 kilometers). I figured a taxi would take about 10 minutes, and I booked it without hesitation. Life taught me a lesson. On the afternoon of August 4th, I arrived at the airport and saw no public transportation to the hotel, so I decided to take a taxi. Google Maps showed the distance from the airport to the hotel as 26 kilometers, but no one on the ride-hailing app ”Grab” accepted the request. If I had gone through all the trouble to get a taxi to the hotel, getting to the airport for my flight the next morning before daybreak would have been a real challenge. The above rating is inaccurate and does not reflect my true intention. Since I don't rate, I can't leave a review.

Initially planning to look for receptionist early morning around 530am before check out but nobody was there and left a phone number which unable to call in, have to drop WhatsApp and only reply around 8am. Besides I’ve already heard some customers were yelling to find any receptionist around 5am as there were no one around FYI.
